I grabbed the medium one for my bell tent. It is a nice little stove. I added a gasket around the inside lip of the top panel to make sure no smoke comes out when i shut the damper down. The only other thing i plan to do is to swap the rivets on the cooking plate for countersunk ones so i get better contact on the metal with my cookware.

That's awesome 👍 I just spent the night out with ours. I must say it was way more efficient than I expected. I agree with the rivets! My stove fan was rattling but I was still able to move it enough.
Love the input, let me know how it turns out 🍻

    Greetings friends.
Thank you for sharing your happy family experiences.
I watched a few videos before subscribing. The manner in which you interact with your daughter and explain your actions and equipment to her is wonderful to observe.
May I offer two technical suggestions?
    * Rough/sharp metal edges can be removed using a file, emery cloth or a grinding bit in a Dremel tool or drill. I find it is worthwhile to touch up new metal products rather than having to wear gloves to handle them or have long-term concerns about injury.
*The audio in some of the videos varies quite a bit. This can be extremely unpleasant, especially if using headphones. Perhaps you would consider using clip on microphones, a tripod microphone or adjusting the volume level in post-production before uploading videos.
Please continue to provide these enjoyable videos. They are very much appreciated.
    Best wishes.

Hello and thank you so much for subscribing to our channel,
I appreciate the time you took to watch through a few videos and your feed back. Our number one concern at the moment is getting the best quality audio. We did try some clip on lavilier mics but seemed to pic up everything but our voices. We are looking between a Rode shotgun mic and another brand. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Our goal is to make videos that we can look back in years to come and enjoy our family adventures so getting the quality of the videos is top priority.
Take care and thanks again for your valued input 😊

I am so glad to see this video. I had a hard time finding reviews. But it looked like such a good design I went ahead and ordered the medium size. It should be here Monday. Glad to see your review is favorable. Whew! Can't wait to see the tent video.

I'm glad my video helped.I just finished a Hottent video with that stove. It ran very efficiently and heated the tent perfect. The medium will be great 👍

Hey there, First question is what tent/ size ? This small stove puts out alot of heat but the chimney is short for some tents. Let me know the tent your thinking of and happy to help with the right stove 🍻

@@HisandHersOutdoors thanks for the response! I was thinking about naturehike ranch for 6-8 persons.
Other important thing is that I am planning to ship it from us and there is a big difference in weight and delivery price respectively.

I was gonna get the large but it's out of stock

I was easily able to load the small up with 11" pieces and had lots of heat. The large size must be awesome. The price point is pretty good so I can see it selling quick. I know they quickly replenish their inventory 👍

    Greetings,
I appreciate your kind reply and your receptivity to input from subscribers.
I have no direct experience with AV production. I have a technical background, including electronic troubleshooting and Industrial Design, but I am not qualified to provide professional advice for videography or audio editing. I will share what little I am confident in contributing...
There are multiple aspect to audio recording. These two are very important:
    1. Volume Level
    2. Sound Quality.
Sound quality might seem to be the most important, but even the best audio quality will be degraded by varying audio levels. If a recording has great sound quality, but the volume level changes abruptly or repeatedly, the viewer will have a diminished viewing/listening experience.
If background or surrounding audio has been an issue, you may want to research cardioid pattern microphones. Cardioid is a directional pattern-when the mic is oriented toward the speaker, dialog capture should work well.
Omnidirectional or bidirectional mics may not be a good choice for dialog in a setting with significant secondary sound levels. Those "pickup patterns" or "polar patterns" are, however, very effective in recording ambient or desired background audio.
For example, if you are recording dialog, a cardioid lav or shotgun mic should work well. If you want to record a broad, comprehensive environmental audio segment, such as crickets chirping, frogs croaking or birdsong, an omnidirectional pattern mic should work well.
Many of the channels I view do use Rode products and they provide, in my viewing experience, good performance. Keep in mind that exterior recording is a bit different from interior recording. Mics used outdoors need to be robust and able to withstand humidity and minor impacts.
I believe you are establishing a successful YT channel. The warmth, joy and family dynamic you present are, in my opinion, far more important than the technical aspects of your content. If you desire to grow your subscriber base quickly, you may benefit from making contact with established YT content creators who are receptive to collaboration.
I performed two quick online searches to find advisory or review information for microphones and post-production audio software. If you are considering audio software, bear in mind that online-based applications typically require a reliable, fairly high-speed internet connection. If you have an intermittent or low-speed connection, traditional software may be a better choice.
The search strings text is the verbiage between the asterisks. If you want to perform additional research, you can copy & past the entire text strings, including parenthesis and quotation marks, into your search page.

Honestly, I thought when I finally had the guts to actually get in front of the camera, I'd be swarmed with harsh negative comments. Everyone so far has been kind and i take everyone's opion as positive direction. The time you have taken to pass on this info is so greatly valued. I have been researching audio and video issues we're having but it's hard to get answers. I fully understand what you wrote and appreciate all the direct links. It definitely helps me continue to get better at this!
Thank you for your kind words and advise. Looking forward to future advice 🍻

Sitting comfortably on a bench with the stove nearly 40" above the ground does not represent how the stove is actually used.Stooping, bending on your knees, placing your head within 12" above the ground to see into and load the stove is the reality.

@peterdement if my video, reviewing a mini stove on a bench bothered you, you definitely don't want to watch LoneWolf902 haaa. Don't lose too much sleep Pete. 🍻

And if you are really curious on how the stove worked camping, it's in the next video titled ( Hottent Camping) in the Kingcamp tipi tent that it was made for. 👍
