    It was warm today so I did banded bench press and air squats 30 reps total. Banded bicep curls and step ups 20 reps total. Being 6’3’’ 380 I don’t think I will be doing much in the truck... :)

    Awesome. I was looking for ideas on what do in the truck as far as a workout. I was in the Army for a bit then got out and unloaded trucks at walmart so working out has been apart of my life for the last 5 years. Now that I'm a steering wheel holder, I don't really work out much except for raising and lowering the landing gear. Thanks a lot Prime!

    Ya if I was solo I'd be doing this. But as a team driver if the truck is stopped my co driver is probably sleeping/ in the way. I had a bike but it was getting ruined by all the salt/dirt when it was on the back of the truck so I took it off

    We also have room for kettle bell swings guys, I love swinging a 35-50 pound kettlebell in there. If you do enough you feel like you just went for a run lol. Plus you can squat them lift them around and whatever, kettlebells!

    Unfortunately this is not possible in a lightweight lol. I'd love to see you post a video on what we are supposed to do. In the meantime I guess I'll just be sticking to the old thermals and working out in 20 degree weather just because I'm personally motivated enough to do that but it would be nice to see exercises that are possible to do in a lightweight truck

    • @PRIMEINCTRUCKING
      @PRIMEINCTRUCKING  4 роки тому +3

      Totally agree. We'll be doing videos soon for workouts you can do as a team driver, lightweight driver, and more. So stay tuned for those. Keep up the good work lifting outside. It's not ideal but at least you're moving still. Nice work.

      I have a lightweight and you could still do exercise inside such as the pushups if you lift the mattress as in the video . I have three routines that I do.
      Routine 1( chest/triceps and traps) 4 sets each to failure
      -push ups
      -shoulder shrugs (30lbs dumbells in each hand)
      - tricep push down ( using a resistance band over my driver side mirror)
      Routine 2(lats/ biceps) 4 sets
      -one arm dumbbell row (use the bed as a bench)
      -resistance band lat row (There's a piece of metal inside the light weight trucks that you could pass the resistance band through to do the lat rows)
      -seated bicep curls
      Routine 3( quads/ abs) 4 sets
      -goblet squats ( you can only do these in a light weight truck if you have your passenger seat removed)
      -bicycle crunches (you can do these on top of the mattress)

    • @PRIMEINCTRUCKING
      @PRIMEINCTRUCKING  3 роки тому

      Definitely no reason to be ashamed! We shared these workouts inside the truck to show what your options are when it's either not ideal weather-wise outside or the driver can't leave or doesn't maybe feel safe to leave their truck in an area .

  • @Razorokc

    The problem with this is that truck driver's store stuff at the foot and head of their bed because there's not a lot of room in there and it would be a massive hassle to Move everything and pull your bed up every single day to workout,, they're not gonna do that.

    • @PRIMEINCTRUCKING
      @PRIMEINCTRUCKING  2 роки тому

      Great feedback! Matt and the Driver Health and Fitness team keep that in mind when planning workouts for drivers. Typically, both the in truck and out of truck workouts require little to no equipment for workouts. Several of the options are available in the company store are designed with the driver in mind, so they don't take up a ton of room.

      There are many creative ways to work out on or off the truck. For more tips, you can contact Driver Health & Fitness!

    • @truck6280
      @truck6280 2 роки тому

      1. Remaking your bed takes literally 5 seconds… 2. You lift the mattress up so in reality its not like you’re taking your sheet off or anything. 3. Your food is stored in your cabinets or under your bed, both of which have nothing to do with the workout included. Stop making excuses bud.
