I have a 2016 chevy Silverado 2500 duramax there is something plugged in to the 3rd port already Is the an adapter that inserts in to the 3rd port and has 2 connections coming out to connect the camera and the plug that is already there ?

Mine 2016, 1500. Has smaller screen no tach screen the basic one. Do I still have that wire underneath if I change the screen I’m gonna be ok?

If I bought this camera for my 2017 Sierra I wouldn’t have to leave the obd in. I would just have to plug it in for 30 secs then unplug?
