Good review, thank you. It's a toss up between these or the Sound Rhyme DTE 900 for my next purchase.

So many options. I haven't even heard of those! 🙂

I had it and sold it, really liked the sound but that delicate bass switch on the shell is a design flaw

      Why ?

@@anatol1204 as I said, the variable bass switch is delicate and would eventually break

@@realrohitupadhyay How was the sound ? It justifies the price tag in your opinion ? I was thinking of buying them but I couldn't hear them here they don t have them..and I also have small ears which causes me anxiety when it comes to buying big multi driver iems..I search for an end game iem for all genres but mostly for busy multi-instrumental classical and cinematic music..that requires very good separation- layering without being harsh or too trembly..

@@anatol1204 those sound very beautiful, if you love fun sounding sets without sacrificing the details then should go ahead with it, there is not a lot of sparkle in bass, those produce details but smooth in nature, vocals are present but not too forward, goes well with any genre

Are you going to get a review unit of the Ziigaat X Jay Estrella? Said to compete with all IEMs $1,000 and under.

I'm not sure. It all depends on who is stocking it and whether they offer to send me a pair.

Interesting report, thank you. A comparison with the Fiio FX15 would be exciting. Will that come?

Not likely at this stage, unfortunately. FiiO changed some team members and the new PR person isn't sending out samples to me for some reason.

@@PassionforSound That's a shame - I hope the new PR person quickly sees the value of your dedicated, honest work. And that we consumers trust you more than colored brochures. Because we learn more from you. Thank you and continue to have fun!

Thanks Joris! I've got a different way to get some FiiO gear now so there'll still be some reviews of their gear thanks to Apos, but not all their stuff.

Hello. I have a question and have sort of been asking around. I really like the OH700 and the only caveat I have is sometimes I find the vocals a tad siblent on certain songs. For example I was listening to Peter Gabriel's In your Eyes and with the volume a little louder was bothered by a touch of siblance. I'm thinking of going for a copper cable and am interested in the Code 24C. Iv'e read that the vocals are a tad forward and not sure that would be a good thing for me. Perhaps the Ares 8W a safer choice. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Thank you.

You may need other iems , very dark , warm iems or with some bass bleed into the mids as you are very sensitive of any kind of brightness as these are as smooth as they can get or it would be a source issue ! Try the hiby fc6 which smooths everything or tip rolling but cable will do nothing most of the times!

The Ares S 8W is a bit smoother (and cheaper) than the CODE 24C so it might be the better choice. If you do try that first, you can always keep the cable if you find you need to swap IEMs. Also, what's your source device?

@@PassionforSound Thank you for your reply. Yes definitely thinking the Ares 8 wire is the way to go. I’m using a Tempotec V6.

I've heard from forums that discuss different masterings of songs/albums, that that particular album is sibilant even on the master tape

I personally hate switches and tuning nozzles so I'll likely pass on these. Also those vents look like dust magnets for years to come. Any chance you are getting the Symphonium Titan for review?
