Hi, Andrew here, thank you for your seamless content. However, I need help with Logic Pro sound library download. When I download the basic or any of the additional sound libraries, it says failed in the end, I also get a notification that I check my internet yet I have a very stable internet connection. When I try to access the sound library from the logic window, there's a lot not downloaded and when I try also to download one by one, it will still not work. What can I do to solve that problem? Thank you.

Your coverage has been more helpful than ANY of the Logic Pro X posts I've watched. NOW...if only I could learn how to transfer MIDI sequences from my old Yamaha QX-5 and incorporate my tone generator (Yamaha TG-33) into Logic... If you have any ideas or can recommend another source, it would be a blessing.

40:20 for those of you who are still yet to watch this and don't know much music theory, when Charles refers to 1/4 notes, he mistakenly hovers over it 1/16s. Each beat is a 1/4 note, meaning 23 1, 23 2, 23 3 and 23 4 all mark the 1/4 notes, and the small grid lines in between depict the smaller increments.

I’ve been using Logic for years and I had no idea about that sustained midi note tip.. there’s so many little things in here that are just making me see logic differently. I’ve been debating going over to Ableton as it’s more of a modern producers toolkit but I’m now debating staying as these tips are unlocking more real estate I didn’t know about in logic 👍🏻 great video!

Thank You, and bravo for a very well- structured presentation. Really must have been a lot of prep to get there. Much Appreciated. I started years ago in the Analog realm, then in Pro Tools, and no matter what I know, there's 100 features I intend to get to one day. Since a DAW in utterly non- dimensional, it's so hard to get 1/4 of the features in WORKING MEMORY. Even if they were once used daily when pushing sliders, twisting knobs, and recording with our EARS. Your choice of material here was great, as I can see it's useful to beginners and veterans, and that's really good judgement on your part. Well done! Being a wearer of every hat by necessity, I really appreciate work like this.

Minor point of information: The design purpose of SMPTE lock isn't to protect from accidents-tho that's perfectly valid; I use it for that, too. SMPTE is Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, the standards body for film & video. SMPTE lock refers to SMPTE time code, used to synchronize audio and video. So SMPTE lock is intended to lock some audio cue to a specific time code to sync to the video. (It also gets used more broadly to synchronize things, like say, a fireworks display). So if you find yourself working with video, with a cue sheet, you know what to do! Anyway, impressive video; I've been using Logic for a decade, and I'm learning various things I hadn't noticed. Not just that, but actually useful ones.

Thank you! Question about #38: would this tool allow a speed down from a much higher speed to the normal project speed? or would that require a tempo automation track for that effect?also does the tool work on a master stereo mix or a group bus?
