Yup, always loved the Bristol car co products. And I guess the engineering & styling did actually come from aircraft engineering? Loved the video Dom. Les
Great video gents, very interesting to get a glimpse of some fantastic engineering, but for pure looks that Bristol is one of the most beautiful things I've ever. Thanks men always entertaining Eddy xx
My first bicycle was old when I got it, needed a bit of work. I boiled the chain in oil because some of the links went round in pairs! Perfect after that. Rode it for a few years after it was fully fettled , then sold it to a neighbour for more than I paid for it.
Hi Dom '. You're definitely educating Jon ! He made the comment about the Bristol having an aircraft interior . That's because it was the Bristol Aircraft Company's first production motor car . Bizarrely , it utilised the B.M.W engine from the pre-war 308 . The grille pays homage to the manufacturer . However , as Bristol had " pinched " the engine they wasted enormous funds converting all of the metric fittings into imperial ! .....Have you got the spot welder working yet? The guarantee is just about to expire !! Take care Dom .
Another brilliant vid Dom and John, thanks !! You should come along to Prescott Speed Hill Climb in Gloucestershire...great fun and the Paddock is great with owners and drivers very accessible for a chin wag !! Cheers, Neil
Looks like you both had a great day. My grandfather had 2 Frazer Nashes. One is now in Canada in the care of a relative. They are brilliant cars. Fast as anything modern, but with no differential so have to be drifted to make rapid progress round bends.
The Standard Vanguard is spacious & comfortable, however when performing night-time gymnastics it's interesting when you stick your knee in the horn ring!
Did not realize Jons eyes were that bad, take him into a charity shop and have a rummage in the old spec box. The back end on that Standard Vanguard was nothing like our 57 saloon
Paired with a Townes Aston Martin Lagonda, behind the Husler? Except the rear end looks different from other Lagondas I've seen. Perhaps, the later models (this one's an '89 or '90 - 'G' plate) had a different rear light design?
Great show. I really like that Menasco. I found out that the engine was made in Los Angeles. What engine would you use on a replica? The grey 4 door at the end, an Austin?
I drove one of those Bristols when I was about 18 in the sixties. The direct steering was a revelation. I have never re-experienced this sensation.
Love the Bristol a real beauty.

Standard Vangaurd, my dad had two of those, we used to play spaceships in them!!
Thanks Dom. Liked the red Somerset with the roof chop....

A Bicester virgin, an unforgettable first time
Nice video, great cars and always good to see you two egging each other on, so much enthusiasm
Cheers guys.
The last grey one, that John liked, looked like a dog having a poo 😂
Great episode Dom & John. Cheers
Wooden Popemobile, love it😂
Great tour . . thanks Dom.
Digging the 1970 Dodge Challenger at 01:55. Would've liked a closer look at that beauty.
4:53 Hey, that looks like one I made for my kids more than 10 yrs ago. Body was a Ferrari, but dragster all together. Nice!
I love watching your videos! If I wasn't on the other side of the world, I'd love to go to some of these events!
What an amazing show! Great stuff as always.
Jon needs his own channel.

Seeing you get the coffees in, reminded me, what happened to the Land Rover Defender mobile coffee shop you were working on?
It’s finished and back with its owners!
I watched episode six, is there going to be an episode seven?

There is actually a photo of John Lydon [as a little kid] riding in one of those A40 convertible toy cars.
Get a pedal car for your next project. That one with the patina!
Great video. I spotted you both there and wondered if you'd do a review.
3:00 the Husler, designed by William Townes who also penned the Aston Martin Lagonda.

Standard Vanguard. Eventually taken over by Triumph Cars.
What’s a ‘Hustler’? (If Ercol made cars…..!)
Is on every month ?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🇬🇧
A great show. Thank uou all.
Bristol was too far ahead of its time to gain acceptance of the masses…..
