That was literally out of the box, field 2, 5 tones, and adjusting sensitivity to suit the field. People put too much thought into custom settings. The Minelab engineers are pretty good. The presets are usually brilliant. Good luck out there, you're going to love the machine. 👍
Nice finds. New to your channel and I'm a new equinox 900 owner. What's your thoughts?? My thoughts are build quality is awesome... Vdi numbers seems to be a bit all over unlike the equinox 800
Welcome, and thank you. To be honest, the only other minelab I've used is the vanquish, so I can compare to the 800. It's possibally because the have increased the VDI range. I think the machine is a lot more sensitive (from what I hear) to the position of targets too. It's going to be an interesting journey. 👍
