I had the Trail NP in .177 & the UK distributer returned my money when they tested it when I returned it after 3 weeks. They agreed with me the rifle was "hopelessly inaccurate" so, try before you buy would be my advice.
I have 5 Np air rifles. 1 crossman and the rest..benjamins. Of those..the NP Elite Series are imo the best. Accurate, hard hitting pellets..crosman hollowpoints in both 177 and .22 caliber. The .25 cal Benji Trail is a stout beast for a breaker.. Cant really find anything bad to say about them..just cant bring myself to buy a pcp. Worthless in my eyes.. Now. If PA could convince Crossman to redesign the Nightstalker using the np2 tech, keeping the basic module of the baretta storm style stock, get rid of those silly polymer sights and add a picatinny rail the entire gas tube....while still retaining the 30.75 OAL......and make it in .22 and 25 caliber...might have to add 2 more to my collection..lol
I ordered my NP2 from you and my centerpoint scope fell apart and the breach seal is trashed after 2500 shots.... Other than that, this is one of, if not the best break barrel.
jtmagicman25 Was it the 3-9x32 scope? If so, that's not a good one for this powerful rifle. We have this exclusive combo one which is good: www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Benjamin_Trail_NP2_Air_Rifle_Combo/3533 (3-9x40AO). Either way, Crosman can replace the original!
pyramydair It's the 3-16x40 combo kit with the strap. The scope is the upgraded CenterPoint with illuminated reticle. This one. www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Benjamin_Trail_NP2_Air_Rifle_Combo/3713
+jtmagicman25 Did you fix this breach seal issue? I just purchased a Benjamin Steel Eagle NP2 and would like to be ready for this if it happens to my rifle. Where did you buy the replacement breach seal? Thanks.
love my Benji trail np2 .22 in chamo,,, free style you should be able to hit target out to 60 plus yards,,, just wish there was mfg. uniformity for FPS,,, I read 14.3g chrony from 785 to 835 on average. One guy says 893 another says over 1,000,,, maybe they use motor oil for dieseling, sounds like BS to me.
+Chip Hunnicutt well the octane came out well before the np2 with the inverted gas ram.. both have nearly the same specs despite their astronomical claims and both use Chinese made parts.. how much more identical can you get other than the umarex guns don't fall apart and get recalled..
Everything these days from crosman is sub par quality.. all they seem to be capable of is good marketing that their Chinese guns can't deliver on.. maybe its time airgunners refuse to purchase crosman products until they can make a gun worth buying..
Disagree. The np2 elites series is not a bad value. I own 5 all together..have made mods on all of them and they are a ton of fun to shoot. I have mine dialed and the accurate and hard hitting. To me.. Gamo comes 2 nd place..bought 2 gamos and returned those..never had any issues with my Benjis...maybe i got lucky..but either way..Crosman impresses me with most of their break barrel selections. Cant say the same for Gamo
Hi ! can you put a NP2 in gen 1 Nitro piston carbine ? (like the silverfox) Thanks !

can yall do a review on the benjamin golden eagle .177
I drilled over 75 holes in my NP2's sleeve to lower it's weight. getting 1000+ fps using 14grain CPHP's
Is if able to retrofit into a GAMO big cat 1400? I don't care for np1, love the np2.
Thanks.
I have a question, this NP2 will fix in the gamo 440 and the cometa 300 camo, thank you, for your answer

jtmagicman25 Get a Dampa scope mount.
hunter100t it was the illumination part that fell off.

your doing great mine F1 711 fps with 14.3 grain crosman hp
The piston is to heavy. The buffer is to hard. And the ram has excessive force. Just my observations.
No where near as good as the Theoben system, this is just a gas strut.
Crosman ripped off the umarex octane but still couldn't get thequality of a mid level gun
slingin lead That's bogus. Prove it.
