For the Clueless, basically the Nitrogen Gas replaces a Spring, as you have in a "Springer" Air Rifle. Pro's - Nitrogen is more consistent than a Spring shot after shot, and it's noisy like a Spring in a Steel Tube is. * Con's - When the Nitrogen eventually LEAKS OUT (and it will), the gun is useless until you have to have the Nitrogen refilled (not cheap), whereas a Spring rarely loses it's strength unless you foolishly leave the Gun "Cocked" (spring compressed) and leave it that way for weeks, months and years! (I'm a Gunsmith that also works on hunting and competition Air Rifles)
Please do one on full auto bb/pellet guns work, specifically Crosman SBR DPMS and Hatsan Blitz , and one more animation on Gamo Arrow PCP and Swarm Whisper break barrel and auto loading mechanism thanks in advance
I had bought nitro filling device on gunex sport web its very usefull but it need modificaton nitro piston always air leak and show us how to disassemble only the nitro piston to change that o ring 😊
they use the same as for aircraft piston and emergency landing system etc...by the mean of O-rings and Teflon rings to prevent gas escape (also waffle type and piston type are used in fighter aircraft to keep pressurized the reservoir when they fly inverted to prevent cavitation). Hydraulic system also uses this. Some mix between nitrogen and fluid as in landing gears that is where the dampening needed so it won't bounce violently when landing. Ehh, there are quite a bit of science applications to them. The amount of preload pressure is determined by the distance and how fast it will travel. Car airbags normally compressed at around 2500 psi (but volume also has to goes into account to accommodate the softness of the bag when the human head hit it, about 20-30 psi at the bags, not the tank, the tank has 2500 psi). Air gun tank can hold up to 4500 psi which is a lot. The nitro piston is preload around 700 psi, when compressed it goes up 2000-3000 psi.
No. Because compression of nitrogen gas is slow while loading a pellet. But when when we fire, air expand suddenly. You know sudden expand of air causes coolness. So over all gun is not heated as much as you think.

@kripraz there are two types of break barrel air guns. 1. Springer 2. Nitro piston (gas compression acts like spring) If your gun is springer, it needs to be changed its spring and seal after some time depending on the quality of spring and seal.
Gas ram piston works as Spring just like springer airguns. The second seal on Gas Ram body works as pump like mechanism. This pushes the air into barrel.

I think that the refill valve system is not good. The ball should be a rubber ball just like PCP pump. If you replace this ball with the ball of PCP (3 stages) pump, it may work fine. The other 2 O rings around the Guide and 2 inside it. You have to remove stopper washer first to access this part. But it is difficult.
nothing special about it,,,, compressed gas instead of air.... means more epensive for a quitter gun..... I can see any other dif..ither then if your seal blows, you gotta replace your entire pump..spring? just strech and heat
Only advantage is the reduced recoil, but for the power they aren't much further from a springer. PCP is the best airgun both for power accuracy and little to no recoil.

I understand that precihole Sport do repairing works but how far it is effective in terms of longevity , I doubt.
keep your piston well lubricated with silicon oil.use soft ball as stop valve .dont use any other oil than silicon oil
