Chris Cornell is like the Holy Grail, and you know, you actually should not touch Holy Grails. But, man, I am glad you did, you are really doing him justice.
Now Chris Cornell is one of a kind voice and no one can replicate him but Cunio's voice is so damn amazing! Love him!
This cover really locks in by second chorus and Cunio absolutely nails the interlude. These videos are usually worth the wait, no exception here

This horn sound really works beautifully for this piece. It brought something new out of it. The original always screamed gospel to me. It gives the song a different kind of swag and soul. It's got this dirty New Orleans Jazz/ Bounce feel that works perfectly. No one is Cornell. But this cat has good grit in his vocals. Good vibrato that matches the vibe. I'm here for it.
Man, do I miss Chris Cornell. I had his last album on vinyl before my house burned down. It had been a gift from a very close friend. It was like losing him a second time. That man was some kind of special.
