Balls of steel to even try recreating this classic Zeppelin song. Chrome vanadium steel ones required to take on Plant. The result is WOW. And if you don’t stay until the bitter end you will miss the hair raiser… Are you kidding me? The concept alone of using brass to replicate a rock band is other-worldly. But to pull it off this well is other-universely. 😮✨🌌
Dude's giving a master class in vocal fry. So many nuances to the texture. Lot's of folks use it like ketchup -- just dump it on everything. He's using it like an artist.
This dude gave us a master class - master chef lesson and sprinkled all the right flavors at all the right moments with all the perfect seasonings. The dynamism, the texture, the chills that would push and pull through the top of my skin cells individually.. WOW. just WOW. Unbelievable performance. I need more.
Brass Against always sounds better when this guy is on the tuba (sousaphone). It's like having a tight groovy bassist in a band. The benefits are epic.
He's clearly studied the heck out of the original too. It would be tough for a human to nail that long decaying note in the middle any better than he did.
The trumpet over the top towards the end gave me goosebumps! BA is just always amazing. Cunio? Well why he is not a front man for some iconic band is beyond me but, I sure love what he does for Brass Against. Powerful!
A lot of people are just too talented for modern tastes. A perfectly made radichio and feta salad will sit untouched while people will fight each other to grab lukewarm McDonalds quarter pounders. There is less room in this world for the sublime, which makes it all the more important that we support it.
What you guys are doing is spectacular. Kids are gonna line up to get into the school band. I remember how Geddy Lee brought the bass guitar out of the rhythm section and made it cool! Brass Against is genius.
Mind blown!🤯 I wonder if Plant has heard this. Cunio emulates Robert Plant and so much more! You guys nailed it once again! This may be one of your best ones yet. Can't really choose just one, though. They are all great! Keep it up!🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
I couldn't think of a more intimidating rock singer than Robert Plant. He was / is a phenomenon. (The same as trying to cover John Bonham is fraught with danger) But Cunio absolutely carried this with mega chops!! And he gave it a little bit of his own flair & feel which I appreciated.
The trumpets playing around Cunio's voice in the middle is just magnificent. My god, the goosebumps y'all give on a consistent basis, people. Amazing. PS: Somehow Cunio sounds like Plant, Cornell and himself at the same time with that scream at the end. Mindblown.
This is not singing anymore... I'm physically FEELING Cunio's journey, what a fantastic interpretation! Having a great voice really just doesn't cover this, you need that and much, much more. And the way the band works the original music... wow. I'm happy to have found this video!
My brother, who has played brass instruments since the early 80s and has been in marching bands with the military, orchestras, and ensembles all over even taught music really liked this song, and was impressed with Cunio's vocals. He felt the brass was "was growly, but appropriate for the song" which, coming from someone as reserved as he is is very high praise...trust me. Midwesterners give out praise reluctantly at best. I think you cats made him blink and that takes a lot. ;) Anyway, just a little extra love. I'm sharing this tune far and wide.
I watched Under The Streetlamp videos, and kept replaying them to see Cunio. He has a gifted voice! I know he's been through hell and back to sing with such feeling. Now, i have repeatedly watched Brass Against, with Cunio at vocals, and want to scream, cry, applaud, and jump up and down, all at the same time! The whole band is super talented, but Cunios voice is a God given gift!
had high expectations for how much the Brass Against players would bring it and they exceeded those expectations. Singer was able to bring chills just like Plant use to bring me
Shout out to the brass section for keeping an even tempo and volume throughout! especially that trombone! I'm amazed at the sheer dedication and talent consistently put out by Brass Against
Oh wow, this is outstanding. Well done, guys, that singer has a great set of pipes. This was brilliant thoroughly. I enjoyed it. I'm gonna watch the rest now and share this.
Fantastic sounds. Really enjoyed the different camera angles; gave love to each band member. Horns on target. Rhythm solid and firming all the gaps. Thanks for making this.
I'm having trouble getting over how different the attack and decay on all the notes are with horns and woodwinds. In the original there's a smooth flowing sense that is just gone from this.
@Ted Dennison Ur ears must b broken bc any musician worth their salt knows this is a tremendous feat of talent by everyone involved. This interpretation isn't meant to be exactly like the original, its a track that has a life of its own due to the players immaculate interpretation!!!!!
What the **** was this i just listened???? Absolutelly beautifull!!! One of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs performed by one of the most interesting projects i've listened to. The voice is powerfull, the drums are perfect, the guitar doesn't appear too much, but you can feel it, and the Brass family? Damm, sounding killer, as always!!! Keep going, guys!!!!
It's the fact that you guys CONSISTENTLY find those songs I listened to in middle school (that you all probably did too) and you transcribe them when that was my long lost dream when I was a musician. I love it, please keep up the good work!
He makes me feel
something. That's good. I love his voice. Where has he been all my life
Easily the best cover I've heard. Respect earned! 🙂

Cunio's voice is phenomenal. He manages to sound like Robert Plant while incorporating his own style and flair. What an absolutely brilliant cover.
He does a fine Freddie Mercury as well.
A perfect blend of the original, and this rescore. I'm gonna say it... perfection.
Cunio's voice is phenomenal. He manages to sound like Robert Plant while incorporating his own style and hair. What an absolutely brilliant cover.
Saw them in glasgow and he performed. amazing
Saw him on stage yesterday at Toulouse, his presence is also incredible
Probably, one of the best Zeppelin covers ever existed. A rare moment when you "experience" the song rather listen to it.
western shores😳
Only one I would say thats better is No Quarter - Tool cover. Check it out
What a Vocal!!

What a Voice... awesome....👍👍💪💪❤❤
Cunio has so much power. Great singer.
Brass Against always sounds better when this guy is on the tuba (sousaphone). It's like having a tight groovy bassist in a band. The benefits are epic.
Cunio nailed it, what grit he has! What a sizzling version, absolutely love it!
He's awesome. Does he have any original music out? All I can find is covers.
He's clearly studied the heck out of the original too. It would be tough for a human to nail that long decaying note in the middle any better than he did.
Very close to Plant’s vocals! 🎉
@@kristianwichmann9996 He's got his own UA-cam channel. @Cunio4
His voice is a dream. So close and so original at the same time.
The trumpet over the top towards the end gave me goosebumps! BA is just always amazing. Cunio? Well why he is not a front man for some iconic band is beyond me but, I sure love what he does for Brass Against. Powerful!

Those horns, the voice, so good.

Holy fucking shit... singer had some serious pipes! Amazing. ❤
Knew he was gonna be fire from the first line he sang!
Cunio was born to cover Page
I couldn't think of a more intimidating rock singer than Robert Plant. He was / is a phenomenon. (The same as trying to cover John Bonham is fraught with danger)
But Cunio absolutely carried this with mega chops!! And he gave it a little bit of his own flair & feel which I appreciated.
That was amazing! Cunio didn't just nail it, he lived it. A joy to watch.
Yea, i'm going to need more Cunio covers.
Yo I listened to Toxicity, nearly cried. Cunio indeed is one legend. Im obsessed with Brass against! Every single cover is just breathtaking.
The trumpets playing around Cunio's voice in the middle is just magnificent. My god, the goosebumps y'all give on a consistent basis, people. Amazing.
PS: Somehow Cunio sounds like Plant, Cornell and himself at the same time with that scream at the end. Mindblown.
I got the same vibes (Plant + Cornell! + himself). What insane levels of talent.
I'd even add some drops of Mercury into this
Double that..those trumpets just WORK.❤
You have a great ear, I didn't catch the Cornell until you said it.
It was a pleasure recording this with such an amazing group of people!
What a great version...and Cunio is amazing. What a voice! 🤯
The treatment you guys gave at the end was transcendent
Liked before listening because cunio is a monster. More of him please
This is one of the sexiest Led Zep songs, I think, and the justice done to it was flawless. Cunio is dangerous in the best ways.
Cunio's voice is amazing, and the instrumentation is top notch as always. Love it.
This is not singing anymore... I'm physically FEELING Cunio's journey, what a fantastic interpretation! Having a great voice really just doesn't cover this, you need that and much, much more. And the way the band works the original music... wow. I'm happy to have found this video!

This couldnt have sounded anymore perfect, good and glorious God, beautiful.

Damn. I mean..... DAMN! What a superb rendition.
somewhere, Jimmy, Robert, and John listen in awe
This might be the best rearrangement & cover in all of human history.
Holy Wow! Brilliant!
Ugh, this deserves 100 million views. So good.
had high expectations for how much the Brass Against players would bring it and they exceeded those expectations. Singer was able to bring chills just like Plant use to bring me
tones of pure gold and honey
Saw that it was Cunio and broke the light barrier clicking the link. Been loving his covers, keep it up!
Shout out to the brass section for keeping an even tempo and volume throughout! especially that trombone! I'm amazed at the sheer dedication and talent consistently put out by Brass Against
Blown away by how good this is.
Killer vocals, great drumming, brass kicking ass.
And, seriously, give it up for the tuba, doing EPIC WORK.
I enjoy also watching him so much feeling in his singing love ❤️ it
WHAT A VOICE!
this dude's a beast
Wow. Cunio. Amazing. 😮
Jesus Christ....Who is this man? The amount of emotion in his soul blows my mind.. I can't even...I don't know....I'm broken.
I'm 90% straight but I have a huge crush on Cunio 🥰
Michael Cunio's voice is so awesome and beautiful and the best voice I have heard in a long time especially when he does led Zeppelin covers. 🥰❤️💖🙏
What a perfect song for a brass ensemble to cover, especially since the original incorporated brass instruments. Love this!
The Best led Zeppelin cover...ever
I love Led Zeppeling
I love Brass Against
I now also like Cunio
I can't believe I haven't heard this version untill now. I Love this song!!!
This may be the best led zeppelin cover I've ever heard
Oh wow, this is outstanding. Well done, guys, that singer has a great set of pipes. This was brilliant thoroughly. I enjoyed it. I'm gonna watch the rest now and share this.

oh man, this is it. This was epic. Beautifully done
I’ve always the guitar and synth of the original were purposely tuned to sound like brass. This is perfect
I'm having trouble getting over how different the attack and decay on all the notes are with horns and woodwinds. In the original there's a smooth flowing sense that is just gone from this.

@@bryanfalcho6293 I love this version but his ears certainly are not. He is absolutely correct.
As I've said on twitter, you guys with Cunio it's... something else.
JUST BLOODY EXCELLENT, Sound, camera, mix, the works
but have never seen a drummer read music
Thank you for more collaborations with Cunio. He fits in well with the band.
Damn, what a singer

Yes!!! Desperately awaiting new Brass Against 🎉🎉🎉
When they brought Cunio in for Immigrant Song I was like "Kashmire would be amazing". It did not disappoint. Kudos to all involved, a gem
Categorically Superb! Arrangement, musicianship, execution, articulation, and WOW Michael Cunio! Well done!
It's so obvious that riff was meant to be a horn line. Stunning.
this song is *perfect* for his vocal range. phenomenal job!
I couldn't get rid of Goosebumps that was one with my favorite songs when I was teenager!!! I got to see my dermatologist tomorrow!!!!!😉🥰😜✌️🇵🇱🇺🇸
This is our reward for participation in the matrix.. fair compensation indeed..bravo
mis respetos desde cuba eres buenisimo
Simmering, intense, deep notes☆ Glorious collab. 🙌🤩
At the beginning I was like I hope they don't mess it up. 0:18 starts playing and I am like, I already love this, into my playlists you go!
💜🎷🎺🎶🤘🏽So glad I found this gem. Outstanding voice, and the horns 🎺🎷are a very nice touch 🤘🏽
This group kills it. All the time.
Blew it out of the water again! Amazing vocals
Are they even Human? Perfection, chef's kiss
I see another Cunio + Brass collab, I hit the thumbs up button.. that simple.
Wow!
I really want to hear this live. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
They posted a live version of it somewhere on YT.
Nockit out of the park, so good

Great cover, cheers for this dude, has an amazing voice
Ibrahim Maalouf vibes with the trumpet. Incredible ❤
My hands-down favorite Led Zeppelin song. And that's saying a LOT.
Everything about this is perfect.
I feel the need to watch that right again... Great stuff!
That was the way this song was intended to sound like...as usual y'all knocked it out of the park!
'kin excellent, and an outstanding vocal, guys. Awesome!
how is he able to get his vocals to sound so incredibly accurate?!
Just blown away by this. Brilliant.
This guy must take his band and show the world best ever cover for Led Zeppelin on TV shows like "... Got Tallent"
Amazing! That was fabulous! What an endurance test for the brass you all rock!🎉 much respect
what a great voice !🤘
Just elevated with Cunio. Been following u guys for awhile but this is insane and so is that immigrant song
Michael Cunio, Seattle's finest!!! Great rendition of a great song!!
Wow!
Today is my 46th birthday and what a mind blowing surprise. This may be your best.
