- In this video I take you along for some walleye fishing from a canoe on a back country lake. After filleting my catch I make my way back to camp and cook up the evening catch over a fire along with some pasta as a side!

.Wow I will never get tired of admiring those landscapes of Lake Ontario. FRIED FISH IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS, that last meal was an excellent combination of ingredients. It's been several years since I've had the opportunity to camp, either fishing or hunting for arrowheads. Greetings to my great friend.

Out here the walleye will have white belly when they come from murky or clear waters, but the black water lakes produce these really nice black and gold walleyes!

Great fishing spot, Marc! Lovely walleye and the shore lunch was supreme! You have to tell us, Marc…this is all a big private estate where you go, right? There is never another boat and you always have each lake to yourself. There are many places where on any given weekend, a fish-bearing lake would have 40 boats on it. You are lucky to live in a place where you can get away and have the place to yourself. Maybe you are just braver than most and have some secret recipe to keep the flies off you.😅
You are right! I am blessed to be in the North, but it is still a bit challenging to get away from boaters. Tons of people ATV their car topper boats in remote locations!
