After 28 straight years and 30 plus trips to Canada we finally caved and spent a week at a northern MN lake. If this continues through next summer I may need a friendly Canadian to adopt me!!!! :-)
Excellent , I'll have to try me some Catch and Cook ,,,, I wish I could get some before the 5th , I'm heading up the Cedar Narrows Road for 2 weeks a big multi species trip !!!
Jay you should fish with Josh more often, you guys are the Odd Couple lol. You are all high tech, strategies, electronics and Josh keeps it simple. Polar opposite but it works perfectly.
The secret to crispy fries? Fry them twice, first time is more of a blanch look for only slight browning then get them out of the oil let them sit for 3-5 mins then dump them back in the hot oil. It works can't explain why but the fries are crispy on the outside without being too crunchy and the inside is cooked and fluffy.
Really enjoy the video I have never eaten walleye but my cousin said it's the best tasting fish in the world as far as freshwater I don't know but that fish you made really looks delicious I wish you much success with your new venture selling catch and cook I will be placing an order.
I wanted to try your breading but when I saw the price of $10.00 per bag I decided to stay with my own recipe. I think you should reconsider your price.
I feel like that dude did venison tartare with Peric or something on an ice fishing vid a few years ago? If it is, I trust this product and will happily buy/try (I trust you, too, Jay)
Hey Jay....I'm not asking for the secret ingredients, however I assume this is wheat flour based? There is no ingredient info on the website. My family needs gluten-free items.
What I do to see if my oil is hot enough, is I throw a couple popcorn kernels in my oil, and when they pop, that means my oil has reached 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wow, I didn't know people would shell out 10 bucks for a simple mixture of Wondra flour and readily available spices that you can purchase at your local grocer. What a grift!
WE'RE BACK IN STOCK!
caught 3 walleye today during the morning bite on Hazelwood Lake in Thunder Bay. Conservation area so no motorized boats. Just a beauty day!
@@justinbouchard yup! 7 til 1:30 in the kayak
Really nice seeing a catch and cook with someone so knowledgeable! I learned a lot about cooking fish from this!

Lol Jay brings the musky net for a catch and cook where you only care about the small eaters....priceless

Looking forward to you tryin!!
Jay, you should do a video review/ overview of 360 Mega Imaging. Something similar to what Aaron did with Panoptix would be awesome!
Dudes you gotta eat it and say "wooooaaahh thats good!". If you dont its not a catch and cook.
Awesome video man!
Has no tongs then has tongs to drop the fish down and then DOESN'T have tongs again to take it out of the pan 😂😂 so funny.
Noticed that too, look at 15:00 Hahahaha
Love it ! Excited already !
The chicken of the waters. Damn I love me some pickrel. Make sure you get the cheeks out for a nice fresh water scallop!
Can’t wait to get some for my fishing trip in a few weeks!
Why do you throw the Sauger back? LOTW Sauger and Walleye taste identical! Was it too small? I'm pumped to try that Catch and Cook!
do a challenge where you dive to find lures and such and then you have to use the ones you find to catch your fish.
13:10 everyone here can relate.
I wanted to try your breading but when I saw the price of $10.00 per bag I decided to stay with my own recipe. I think you should reconsider your price.
Looks delicious! 1 question, where did the tongs in the B roll come from 😂
Tricky b-roll sequence AKA Josh wore the same sweaty shirt two days in a row....
I was definitely wondering about that same thing lol
I did a double take with that one too haha

15:00 where those tongs come from? I never double battered but will have to try it out next time.
I was wondering that too. I've double battered and it's sooooo worth it, more crisp and more flavour
I feel like that dude did venison tartare with Peric or something on an ice fishing vid a few years ago? If it is, I trust this product and will happily buy/try (I trust you, too, Jay)
Josh is great

Hey Jay....I'm not asking for the secret ingredients, however I assume this is wheat flour based? There is no ingredient info on the website. My family needs gluten-free items.
It contains wheat flour. Not gluten free at this point.

Nowhere else just Lake of the Woods.

Hey hey now! Taro is a gentleman and a scholar!
Maybe if Josh drank a case of redbull and a hand full of speed. LOL
Don’t threaten me with that type of fun!
I'm talking 39 hours taro kinda
