Hey there, love all ur videos. Thx for fishing n making them videos. U should try horseradish with fish n bagel, or some tandoori bread. Good luck have fun.thx again.
A beautiful fish walleye is with that golden bright. Here in Spain we ´ ve got non-native zander which was introduced from Central Europe. Zander is also delicious to eat and I guess is bigger than walleye judging by the big number of catch you guys made with no fish bigger than two pounds. It was also great to see that other species with an European related species. Both belong to the cod family and are the only freshwater species of this family. As always a wonderful video which I enjoyed a lot.
You can get roadkill license in WA. So I guess that means you NEED one to collect from roadkill? Grats on knocking walleye off the bucket list! TEAM WASHINGTON! Now I have to go find that burbot video! : )

You should take a trip to the moses lake area, we have walleye that get over 10 lbs, large & small mouth, perch, crappie, catfish and whitefish not to mention tons of crayfish. We r in the middle of a bunch of lakes like banks, sun, dry falls and Roosevelt to the north and potholes and all the seap lakes to the south not to mention the Columbia just west of here, pretty good spot for fishing and hunting 👍
@@NWFishingSecrets walleye season is biggest at spawn in moses which is 1st 2 weeks of April when we open the dam. If you have a boat its pretty much all year in moses and especially potholes which moses drains into. Theres a competition just about every week during the summer, i just got done going to deep lake which is part of the sun lake/dry falls chain just north of the town of soap lake (about an hours drive for me. I was able to land 6 rainbows, missed another 8 at the boat, was a good day. I was going for the kokanee but couldn't get them today maybe tomorrow :)
Walleye and Zander are related but not the same, there are a couple places you can fish Zander state side, I know north Dakota and Michigan and I think new york.
Yes the stocked them.in New York. Zander like the European perch looks similar but they are different especially size. The European versions of both fish get bigger I believe
When you're jiggen for eyes they hit pretty tentatively. It's like a tap tap hit. I usually let em "tap tap" twice and then set the hook. They usually gum on the crawler overhanging the hook and take it on fully after the first bite.
I'm amazed that in your jurisdiction, you can fish with two rod at the same time. Here in Quebec, Canada it's one rod at a time. size of the walley should be over 37cm-54cm(14.5-20.9), it depends of the zone you are fishing, near the city where there's more fishermen thus more pressure for the walleye, this rule applies. The first two first they catch is too small has to be release (maybe camera angle). I think you guys are lucky that there's lot of walleye out there and rule are easy. Walleye is the most delicious fish in the world maybe...
you should come fish the maumee river in Ohio. its a huge event every year and if you thought the walleye in this video were big you'd shit your britches at the walleye that come out of the river.
