Just got one. Great product at a very reasonable price.
How large of a dado can u make with this?
Ron, 13/16" plus the width of your blade.
With a 1/8" blade, you can do up to 15/16"wide.
But it also works with dado stacks up to 13/16", so with that you can cut up to 1-5/8".
Here is a video showing the dado blade:

e' bom mas o preco e' um absurdo
É um ótimo preço na Woodcraft
Why doesn't microjig have a metric version and join the rest of the world. I really like this product and I've ordered one but it would have been great to have an exact number like 75mm instead of 3"
We looked into that when we designed the Dado Stop, but it is just not practical to produce two physically different versions, and back then, as now, the vast majority of our products sell in the US. We have considered a spacer for the back to make it an even 100mm. If there is interest enough, we certainly could. The rest of the Dado Stop needs no measurements at all.
@@Microjig Understand the impracticalities of producing two versions and also a spacer would be a good idea but to use the excuse that most of your products are sold in the US is like saying we don't care about the rest of the world, which is mainly metric, we're more important. There are plenty of US companies that produce metric and imperial versions of their products eg woodpeckers.
@@Microjigagreed definitely need metric.
All of micro jig products are way over priced. I'll just make my own
Maybe overpriced if all you buy are chinese-made products. I appreciate that MicroJig products are USA-made.
Goobledygook and time consuming!
