All we need to know, is that someone is faithfully conveying the work of JJ in the context in was created, simple, ,melodic and ,,,with timing,,,,this meets that criteria. Good stuff.
JJCale would salute these guys doing his music their own way! They are the closest to the real deal i have ever witnessed! Need to book this band at Cains in Tulsa, crowd would be packed because of the Tulsa Sound they capture! Great job Guys!

seems like more people learned about jj cale after his death than before his death. i discovered jj on you tube around 10 years ago. i live near st. louis and going on 80. unfortunately when rock and roll came on the scene big time around the end of 1958 and in 1959 none of the st louis radio stations played the great jj cale songs. doubt if they had ever heard of him in that time frame.

Been an ardent J J Cale fan for over 40 years, but I must say that this rendition of J J numbers is an absolute pleasure to listen to. 😀👍
These guys are so badass it’s just like listening too JJ they’re so close too sounding like Mr. Cale except they put they’re own magic on it 💪🐐
