Worked on my 2013 s4 but mine was the backrest maxed out both directions then my set light finally turned on when pressed also helps more if you know what motor needs re cal mine was the backrest not forward or back.
Are you doing the rest with the car running or is it turned off? My 2006 VW Jetta is possessed- drivers seat keeps moving as I’m driving EVEN after I’ve set up a certain setting. Please help!!
Wow that sounds like an interesting and frustrating issue! For this to work the car has to be off. It sounds like your car may be switching driving profiles?
Did not work here, Tiguan 2020. Did you turn the car on? Multimedia on? Start engine? Is there a sequence? Because i respect the video’s and didnt work… down (seat and top), forward.. then backward and up (seat and top).. ;( Thanks
From the manual page 135: The memory buttons can be reprogrammed and the vehicle keys re-assigned. 1) Open the driver door and do not get into the vehicle. 2) Operating the seat settings from outside the vehicle. Move the angle of the seat backrest completely forwards. 3) Release the control to set the angle and then press again until an audible warning is heard
Great question. I don't know the exact answer but I did find this online: To reset the memory seats in a Volkswagen, you can try the following: Adjust the seatback angle as far forward as you can Let go of the switch, then press it forwards again until you hear a gong This should clear all the seat position memories. Let me know if that works!

@Eli Baier no unfortunately. I can set all 3 memory spots but will not automatically move back when car is parked for easy exit. I'm starting to think this isn't an available function. I have the r line black and my mother has the Premium and neither do it :(

I think it has something to do with trying to save the memory seat positions too may times or may just be an error in VW programming… haha

I can't get it to work for my 2018 VW Tiguan. We are going to look at the fuses too but find the diagram for that is hard too
