Hello Penguin, may ask what is the best way atm in ur experience of making gold at lv 63 as evoker devastation, becouse im doing the free trial of dragonflight so im cap at 63 xd im doing herb and mining gathering but idk if there any other thing i can do to earn more gold to buy dragonfligh before jan 2.
The best thing to do is farm if you are a beginner and have a time crunch. Crafting requires alot of experience and trial and error
Great info, really enjoy your videos! One question - how do you have enough mettle on a fresh 60 to do the experimentations? I brought a fresh 60 over, learned alchemy and could only get to skill 17, with only enough mettle to do phial experimentation and didn't discover anything. Did I screw up or am I missing something?
Sadly thats the biggest downside of Alchemy.... RNG. if you dont have enough mettle because you burnt all of them on cooldowns, you do have a few options.
1. Make sure you've done all of your first craft bonuses if any are available - this can give you some extra mettle if you are just lacking a few pieces
2. Pick up a second profession - doing first craft bonuses from another profession (tailoring for example because its so cheap) can get you mettle as well
3. Go pick up a treasure. Each treasure you loot will grant you 15 mettle and 3 KPs, its pretty quick to do and can allow you to spec into specializations more www.wowhead.com/guide/professions/knowledge-point-treasure-locations-dragon-isles
@@Penguinr2gt Appreciate the response, I had to level tailoring all the way to 50 and do all of the first crafts for enough mettle to get just 1 potion discovery, and was already up to 31 skill just from the experimentation. Now I've managed to get to 40 but in the same boat again with no phial recipes discovered. I don't know if I was extremely unlucky but the claim of leveling to 50 alchemy in 3 minutes seems unrealistic without extreme luck. I think you have to get to 25 skill before you can pick up the treasures as well, but tailoring was a good tip, it's fairly cheap to level for the mettle. Thanks again!

It’s an addon Auctionator
so i figure that you need the mount that has a auction house on it to do it but how do you do that reagent search thing?
You don’t need the Bruto mount at all. You will need the addons Auctionator, Blizzmove and Demodal. Auctionator is the addon that does the search, the other two allow you to have the auction house and your crafting window open! Which is what you need to search!

The easiest way is thru gathering professions, specifically mining to my knowledge
I tried my 1st transmute today but the crafting interface won't produce it. I have the recipe and all the mats and click on create but nothing. Any clue? Is it bugged? I even have 10 points into transmute earned. No error message either.

Do you make just 1 chronocloth per cd? it does not seem like you would make any money whatsoever buying the mats from the AH? Am i missing something? or are just praying for procs for rank 3 and multicraft etc?
Yes, unless you proc multicraft, you are only getting 1 cloth per craft. It depends on the price of materials, but I can currently craft chronocloth bolts for about 2900g right now and quality 2 (and quality 1 is actually the same right now) is currently selling at 3400g. With my current build, I can have a 25% of procing a q3 which sells for 9.7k currently. Azureweave is even better, Even though I can only craft a quality 1, it has a crafting cost of 2.6k and quality 1/2 is selling for 3.3k. The less points you use, the less profit youll make and things may fluctuate in and out of profit, but its very possible!

I prefer tailoring. Takes about 30 minutes for setup to grab knowledge items, but after that you're making 22k a pop with azureweave or chronocloth.

Damn I'm so bad at making gold. I was trying to get Q3 phials but it's not consistent i completely missed transmutes until your video.
That doesn’t mean you are bad at making gold! There’s so many paths and items to craft right now it’s very hard to remember them all
I’d suggest getting advanced phial experimentation and using that until you’re capped on skill. Then unlock the inspiration spec on the last page, right side. Can’t remember the names. Most professions seem better geared for profitability if you go for inspiration, along with blue inspiration gear with insp enchants, where possible.
You only need half of the skill required for rank 3 with that insp spec because it’ll proc you the other half, resulting in rank 3. This can also be done with rank 2 mats, making this one of, if not the most effective way to craft across all professions.
It’s tough though if you, like me, rushed through the knowledge selections and can’t choose the other trees without wasting tons of gold to craft something generally useless but staying ahead of the pack is really the best way to make gold right now.
That or funding people by making reagents, which is another completely different avenue of knowledge point selection. It’s just kind of a tough system because there’s no way to redo the spec trees, once it’s decided.

Thanks Oacin! I think method one will be good throughout the whole expansion - the profit margins will change based on demand, prices, etc. but one transmute should always bring in profit, whether that’s 100g profit per or 1000g
Hi! I have a question about the chronocloth bolt crafts. It said 30 of 30 crafts. What does that mean? I made one and then it went on cooldown and today it says 1 of 30 crafts.
Tailoring cooldowns for the bolts have been bugged ever since about 2ish days ago. Any sort of teleportation of your toon (hearthstone, instance, etc) would reset your cooldowns back and people were exploiting that…. A ton of people got banned for it. They patched the glitch so it no longer can happen, but it still visually is there. So you only have 1 cooldown every day (might get two if you have maxed out your tree) but it visually will show that you have a lot more. Hope that makes sense!

Yes, the cooldowns should work as intended... the technical glitch has just turned into a visual one
Just wanted to say thanks. I did the alchemy technique on my 13 alts and have been making 150-180k in profits every time the 10/10 crafts become available for them.

Be careful with tailoring the azureweave/chronocloth bolts are still currently bugged in game and reset their cooldown way too fast. If you click "craft all" you are at risk for wow suspension for 30 days, happened to me!
Yes people who exploited (whether it was on purpose or not) the cooldowns got banned… if you appealed and weren’t one of the ones they deemed as purposefully, you can get unbanned! The exploit itself should be fixed, however the visually glitch is still there.

You'll be surprised at what people are willing to pay, but you do have a very valid worry. I would test the market and see if it works out for you - if it doesnt, you can always move to another method of making gold!

You were only suppose to gain 1 cooldown a day anyways, if you were creating more than that you were taking advantage of the exploit lol
I've been going for supplementing the classic tailor/enchanting loop. Resourcefulness tailoring while spamming bracers, combined with insight of the blue disenchanting specialization. Extra crafts, extra shards. Starts from a point of being profitable even without either specialization proccing anything.
I was still able to get the azurecloth and weaving trees, switching the scissors out multicraft specialized ones when making bolts. Spinning might have been better for the specific disenchanting loop to make the thread gathering more profitable at the same time.
The disenchant shuffle is awesome right now! Sounds like you got a good setup going on!
@@Penguinr2gt It was until shards halved in value while cloth stayed the same. Then it seems like blizzard is tweaking the values I get roughly 10% less than I did before reset. Overall I regret it, inspiration is like armor penetration, just plain better than everything else. The 50 points to get disenchantment could be in inspiration getting 3 star sophics out, and without being able to do that I have no way to get to 100 so i have no way of actually getting to the inspiration talent now without dumping a million gold in 1 star enchants that don't break even.
Way too many x2 Arcane dusts since the reset, would be like spending 50 points in a skill based tree for a specific item, and having it not let you get out of 1star guaranteed.
I was too frivolous with my alts KPs.

I quite disagree with tailoring alts that do not require KP. Without maxing Azure/Chronocloth, you will be crafting and losing money and in order to make the bags yourself, you should grind the reputation a lot... Nobody will craft rank 1 Azure/Crono and it will be way expensive than R2 and without KP you won't be able to even guarantee R2
If you are planning to craft bags, quality of bolts doesnt matter so KPs arent necessarily needed. Quality 1 crafting cost is the same as Q2. Of course, if you have the ability to use points, you can focus on multicraft and/or skill/inspiration to increase your bolt production leading to cheaper prices and more profit if you plan to sell the bolts to the AH and not use them for anything. It depends on your plans and current prices of materials, but KPs arent 100% needed, but KPs never hurt you, they just help

After Shadowlands, using the word "ton" is hyperbole. I was making 150 - 200g a week with an Army of ten. No way that's going to be anywhere in the ballpark here.
Yep, SL raw gold and just goldmaking in general definitely spoiled us. Legendaries and raw gold methods just can’t be used to compare current day methods since blizz said it’s never happening again
@@Penguinr2gt I'll bet they did. When you have enough g. to pay for about 10 years of monthly subscription fees and purchase other items from bliz I'm sure they hate themselves. And over the past 12 years, I never really devoted a lot of time trying to make gold, though I did do things like farm Big Iron Fishing Poles (my first AH money maker) or flip savage Bloods to vendor.
The one thing I noticed in Shadowlands were the thousands of people who would sell Korthite Crystals for a few silver above the vendor price. First off, I'm sitting on over 1500 of them bought for 31. g or less (vendor price 31.25) I know not much gold, but better than 0g. Second, if you weren't selling them for about 32.5 you still weren't making vendor price with the AH cut taking a bite and Third, if you didn't sell them, the listing for the item to sell is 18.75 for each one. I can't imagine anyone listing (and I mean that literally) them made anywhere near the vendor price.

Exactly what I said - 12.6k an hour is nothing to go insane over - but if you want raw gold and want to avoid the AH completely, there’s options for you

I mean.. these are all very small gold per hour yields. Rather do research into one profession on how to make big bucks out of it instead of wasting your time doing all of this on each alt
You are right! The best way to make gold is to always go deep into professions and crafting, but not everyone enjoys that. To those who want minimum AH interaction and effort (once it’s all set up), these methods can be awesome. Lots of people have alt armies that are left over from Garrisons, mission tables, etc.
