You watch one wow video and your whole youtube becomes flooded with wow vids, especially the gold making ones. I hate it so much I log out and watch everything as a guest user. I signed back in, liked and subscribed just because this video and your content deserves it SO much. I came from Eve Online and adore market hunting, but specifically classic transmog crafting has been unapproachable to me until now. You made me understand so much more about tsm too, I'm going to go back and watch everything you offer. Only been at it a couple hours and already made some decent sales. Thank you so VERY much for this video! Also my favorite animal is a serval :D
Thank you so much for giving my videos a chance and Im so glad they are working! Good luck with your goldmaking journey! I dont have any experience with EVE Online personally, but I know a lot of goldmakers have come from that game and enjoyed WoW's markets too
Not going to mention names, but this is SO much more clearer than the "popular" TSM startup guide that pops up first with a google search. THANK YOU! You have a new subscriber. In answer to your closing question, I am all about Bears for my favorite animal.
Thank you, Penguin, I am into old content crafting and this video has helped a lot especially with the operation and auctioning ways. Much appreciated. Hoping for more old-world contents like how Dala is doing. :)
This is a fantastic TSM video!!! The approach is applicable to everything and I think it's going to tank my profits on old world transmog, so well done! (Yes, that's a compliment; I have an abundance mindset.) And my favorite animal is me because I am a big dumb animal. 😄
Amazing guide, always appreciate your videos. I really missed out on DF crafting since i was busy PvPing but old word has always been fun and this is a great refresher. TY!
Just found your channel after returning to WOW. Love the content and easy to understand information! Your voice is very soothing, i usually cant stand UA-camrs and their over hyped ways! Great content
Great video! I've been abusing old world recipes for all of the professions over the years as i'm oldschool player and have a ton of removed recipes at my disposal. It may not sell well on some servers, but it's fine source of income from time to time. You do a great job by bringing it up for wider audience. :)
Amazing video like always, Thank you ! A recomendation and a follow up video on this might be a mini series of the difrent places where you can get patterns (besides the trainer for the diffrent proffesions / expansions) There a re no videos on this topic and most of the articles are confusing and you end up with gazilion opened tabs :D Keep up the good work ! Love your content !
Before your videos, I used TSM just to track prices, was anything worth keeping or should I just vendor. Now I know how to use the crafting queue! What an amazing guide.
so much beter this video vs the video's you made before. This I can work with and did gave me so much idea's. So I want to thank you for making this and the time you put in it. Really, thank you!!
Awesome video, thank you very much :) I have an issue with the Auctioning Operation though. I copied your 120%crafting, but when I try to post, TSM is telling me that the minimum price is invalid. Was there an update to TSM that forces me to change this formula to something else?
These are the common reasons on why you have this issue... mostly its the 2nd option where you just need to reopen your crafting menu in the TSM view so TSM remembers what you can and cannot craft 1. Why am I getting a "__% crafting is Invalid" error? There are many possible reasons why you would be getting this error but one of these should fix it: - If you cannot craft the item at the current moment, "crafting" will be invalid - you will have to use a different Variable - If you can craft the item, go and reopen that profession menu (the TSM version) and see if that fixes it - TSM 4.11 does not have Cross faction support, if your crafter is a different faction from seller, you need to move them to the same - If you are trying to sell an item that is not craftable, "crafting" will be invalid - you will have to use a different Variable - If the item you are crafting has a BoP reagent (Blood of Sargeras, etc.) - you will have to set a custom price source for that BoP item (Tutorial for that is in the next question), in order for you to see a valid "crafting"
I haven't been playing for a few months and thought I might buy a couple of months' play on my 2nd account and do some Old World stuff before trying to catch up on the main one. Nice timing! Oh and horses!
Thank you so much for this videos, it was really well explained! But one more question: your auctioning operation said 120%crafting. Does tsm notes the 5% auctionhousecut? Or will it then be 15% profit?
For some reason, my profits and stock columns are empty? I've scanned the AH countless times yet I can't see any figures? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Cats I suppose, since I love my little boy kitties. Thanks for such a detailed video. I currently just do work orders, selling my mettle, but am thinking about getting more into gold making after I've finished up a bunch of achievements that have my attention (involving reps).
My jealousy rages eveytime i see someone just pop a bruto mount! its my biggest wow regret not putting effort into farming gold for that during BFA. i didnt start focusing on gold making till mid SL. PS. love your guides!
Great video! I have a question maybe someone can help. My crafting cost in TSM is wrong. I manually check prices of mats and add them up. My TSM will say crafting cost is 10g but its actually 15g for instance. How can I fix this in TSM?
TSM's crafting cost is calculated in a very specific way (your crafting methods are found in your TSM settings). It is meant to compensate for shifts in the markets, so it wont always be 100% exact. I go more in-depth about crafting cost in my crafting operations TSM video!
Hi! Did the same tsm setup as you showed on this video. But when posting I get "minimum price is invalid" If i dont do % on min, max and normal price but a flat gold, it works. But not with %crafting. What could it be that i do wrong? Thanks for the great video!
Are you using the TSM crafting window and do you have the desktop application running with your realm added? If so, reopen the TSM version of the crafting window and reload and see if that fixes your issue
There is no best server (if there was, everyone would go on it and then it wouldnt be the best anymore!), but depending on your playstyle, certain servers will be more appealing to you. Firstly, keep in mind that any item that stacks (materials, potions, food, etc.) are all region-wide, so server doesn't matter at all. Items that dont stack (armor, mounts, weapons, pets, toys, etc - like the shirts in this video) are all server-specific. Lower pop servers generally have higher prices and less competition, but you will also have slower sales due to also not a ton of buyers. Low pops are normally perfect for someone who just wants to post and get really high margins out of their items, but will only sell a handful a day. High pops are the opposite. They generally have a lot lower prices and lower profit margins and more competition, but theres also wayy more potential buyers. People who like to sell a large volume of items and are okay with smaller margins are perfect for high pops. Also, if you play a lot and are willing to cancel scan, you have so much more potential on fuller pops. I highly recommend using Raider.IO's website for tracking realm population and you can look at undermine.exchange to compare item prices. The server that you see in this video is a pretty low-med pop.
Xmogs sell, they just don’t sell fast, and right now the collectors are probably prepping for tww as well. Xmog won’t make you a lot of gold fast, but it will make you a lot of gold over time. It’s about diversity and patience. When tww starts, find good farming routes for gathering profs and you will make the faster gold you want. Good luck!

This is an awesome video. I've almost given up trying to figure out TSM but this made it super easy. Keep up the great work, ya got a new sub here.
Glad it was helpful, welcome!
This was so good - so helpful. I'd been fighting with TSM for at least a year - and you did a GREAT job going thru the steps. ++DoubleGood

Gibbons are awesome! Good luck with the goldmaking!
when it comes to a crafting operation i tend to make one for equiped items and one for consumables like flasks, pots, food, enchants and glyps
Love your content! Was wondering what chat addon or settings you are using to get your chat looking like that?

Found the issue --> Items in the group were set to base item, changed it to specific for the group, now it works.
These are the common reasons on why you have this issue... mostly its the 2nd option where you just need to reopen your crafting menu in the TSM view so TSM remembers what you can and cannot craft

Thank you so much for this videos, it was really well explained! But one more question: your auctioning operation said 120%crafting. Does tsm notes the 5% auctionhousecut? Or will it then be 15% profit?
Crafting takes into account the 5% cut, auctioning does not. If you want to do that, youll want to do 120%crafting/.95
Awesome video!!

Do you have the TSM application running on your computer with your realm added?
@@Penguinr2gt Ah, turns out I’m dense… that was exactly the issue. Appreciate the response!
Do you need TSM to see selling rate of a particular item or is there other addon alternatives?
You need TSM, it’s a metric created by the addon

Do /TSM tasklist to open it back up
