What do u think about doing side lateral leg raises with a bad lower back? I was doing towel decompression and some lower body workout like the fire hydrant and side lateral leg raises but now I'm thinking of doing only walking bc my back is so bad. (I was trying to strengthen my legs to help support back). But the back pain is so debilitating. Its gone from lower back to mid back and sometimes both. It's like burning or nerve pain all over my back. Its like having periods pains but in my back. Even feels like when you've been winded in the stomach if you've ever been hit in the stomach, but it's in my back. I have to lay down and just give in to the pain. I can't do much physical activity for fear of making it worse and can't find much relief in sitting or laying. Plus my shoulders are an issue which doesn't help. Feel like theyre stubbornly forward and really tight. Anything u suggest or what the pain could be? Also, when I sit, should I lean back or sit up straight? Sorry it's a long comment. I appreciate any advice.
Best thing for you to do us focus on the stuff we talk about in the masterclass here: ua-cam.com/video/QIYFt7qQbJw/v-deo.html and of course if you're struggling then do check out the membership as it is by far the best wya of getting better.
Just discovered your channel and love it. I hurt by back a few days ago by deciding to do a hang during my leg session to get rid of the niggles I was feeling. I thought decompressing was a good idea, but like your video suggested I was feeling an ache and couldn't release my back fully, however tired to make it release and when it did I then got the biggest spasm and now very tight - Do you know why the decompression aggravated my spine?
Thanks for the kind words, glad you found it helpful! As a general rule i would not be doing decompression work before and certainly not during a lifting session. if you're feeling niggles prior i suspect you'd been working through an issue that was in the background, then decompressing the spine whilst all the muscles are super tight from the gym session could have just been that extra bit of trouble, plus the fact that often the hang is followed by a drop back onto the weight - which means it's not so much the hang but the reintroduction of the weight that is the issue. That being said if you follow the recommendations on the channel you'll do well. if you need anymore help, check out the website :)

Very good advice here, thanks. I’m going to try all these.
Awesome, glad you found the video helpful, do give them a go and see which one you like the most!
It can work. But not easy
It would be nice if you gave us the option to save your videos. It is to much to go back and find the video.
Best option is to just copy the link and text it to yourself :)
