I personally found no issue digesting (shelled/hulled) hemp seeds for they are open and stomach acid does the rest if chewing fails, whereas whole seeds like chia, flax, kiwi, dragonfruit ect.. usually pass through because they are not open/available. I like to make hemp seed milk turmeric latte :)
I just eat them by the spoonful, love the creamy nutty flavor. I knew they'd make great butter I've been thinking about trying that, thanks , I will give it a go now for sure... plus with butter at $8/lbs finding a decent alternative is appealing .
