This show and Disney Star Wars are the most catastrophic failures in the history of film. They took the most popular, beloved of franchises, and they made something that was nothing but an insult to the legacy of the original creators. It's almost impressive how devoted they seem to be to making a mockery of these franchises and chasing away 99% of the fans.
I just hope they didn't secretly put Tolkien into a cryogenics stasis where perhaps one day, technology is able to revive or clone him including restored memories, oh my. Tolkien Clone would go completely insane with this amazon nonsense, fall down to his knees and start weeping, or else perhaps grab the closest weapon to start destroying everything in sight.
How come in films whenever the bad guy walks in a room and says 'you don't have to hide anymore', the person hiding says aw damn and comes out. for all they know, the bad guy says that as he enters any room, just in case, like I do.
One of the episodes literally ended with a song by some cookie-monster-metal band playing over the credits, so... No. They somehow managed to even turn that into another wtf moment
A show starring Marty Jannetty and Tom Green, about JCVD in horse form and elves that hunt homeless people with Dwarves fighting spitting sparkplugs would be an awesome show worth 1 billion dollars. Instead we have Rings of Power, which isn't even worth a half eaten donut covered in mustard that you found at the bottom of a gas station trashcan. We truly are blessed.

They shoulda paid for the part of the Appendix that mentioned the story of Beren and Luthien? It’s got it all, OP female who has to save her BF, who defeats Sauron but gets captured by her cousin who tries to marry her, has a badass dog sidekick and can shapeshift, traveling the lands and wrecking shop every where she goes. All the GOT angles are there, plenty of room for incest plots, vampires, disturbing imagery and grotesque deaths.
