Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лип 2024
- In today's video I'll discuss my TOP 5 favorite lures for fall bass fishing. I'll put an emphasis on lures that I use while I'm bank fishing. WHY??? Because I don't think bank anglers get enough love! However, these lures work great from a boat or yak as well! I'll discuss lure types, colors, and the combos I fish them on. I'll explain my reasoning behind my picks and even give you a little tip for each lure!
COMMENT BELOW and let me know what your TOP 5 summer bass fishing lures are!

*I used to fish with a Crippled Killer growing up in the 50/60’s and **enjoyable.fishing** recommend think this lure gas a smoother propeller action. It is a great surface lure.*
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I usually have a skinny dipper, a drop shot and a wacky rig with me. Of course I have other stuff in my backpack, but those are what I start with this time of year
I've had other BPM baits ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!
Thanks to you I have learned how to use a baitcaster and learned to take my time and learned some cool new ways to use lures I have gated for years. I'm glad I found your channel 🐟
That's awesome man, glad to hear my vids could help! 👊
That sunfish colored Berkeley warpig....... 😍😍, using the yo-yo retrieve. That’s where it’s at!
Debo hands down has the best fishing content on youtube. Thank you again sir

@@markanderson8290 Oh hi mark
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me!
I asked, I received. Thanks for this vid! Since I lost my job to the Covid I've taken up bass fishing to stay sane, and your informative vids have been super helpful and entertaining. Bank fishing gets ignored on UA-cam very often, but you always find a way to keep it in the forefront.
Agreed, I always try to look out for the bank guys!
Great content as always, looking forward to trying these soon, thanks DEBO and tight lines
Some good fall bait on this list. I just recently found that topwater Poppers are good fall bait when Smallmouths are blowing up on shad. My dad and I were catching them left and right on small sexy shad color poppers.
Thank you for your wisdom! Your videos are awesome and I'm glad i stumbled upon your channel. Trying lures that you mention and it's awesome catching bass on the ones I have never used before 😁
Thanks Debo always appreciate the tips especially about the rod reels and line, I keep thinking I’ve got the wrong setups being used for the wrong applications but watching you I know I’m at least using what I should
Love the tips Debo!!
Great breakdown. Very extensive and so much good info. Thanks for all the details Debo. This is my first Fall bass fishin and this one helped me a lot. Definitely one to save and watch again.
Thanks man, hope it helps! Good luck this fall!
Thanks for your tips, good information, keep then coming
More great content Debo. Love the videos and info. I need to check my tackle boxes and see what I need to buy. I am sure I need something.
Debo pumping out The Content!👊🎣👊! Thanks for all the New Video Content! As Always Highly Informative an Fun to watch!!
I'm trying to keep the vids rolling!
Again appreciate the tips Mr Deeebooo Fish on Brother Fish on 👍🏻💥💪🏻👊🏻
Great info as always brother. Keep it coming. 👊
Great video as usual thanks Debo!
Super in depth and informative content!
Thanks for the details you’ve really been helping up my game!
Thanks for watching 👊
Great video after watching i had to make sure i have those baits in my tackle backpack very greatfull for all your videos
Just started fishing and love your channel. Learning A TON.
Totally agree with you debo my favorite lure it's a mc swimbait 2in or 3inc on a owner dart jig 3/8 major craft jigpara spin 7gram any color lucky craft gunfish topwater 3/8 warbait underspin 3/8 and the 1/2 crankbaits cotton those lure always catches fish seriously
Great content, love how you included your preferred setup for each lure and technique. Swimbaits are my favorite and go to (1/4 ounce head with 4.75 inch feider shad bio spawn exo swim). I still throw a drop shot with wacky rigged senko for finesse when I feel like slowing it down. Going to try your Ned suggestion as I need to build more confidence in that rig. Recently purchased an A Rig and looking forward to throwing that around. Thank you for the post, really good breakdown and suggestions!
You have the best instructional fishing videos on the interwebs!!
Appreciate that a ton my friend 👊
Thanks for the tips. Time to switch out lures in the tackle bag
Crazy good timing on this video. I was going to put new line on a couple of setups for fall here in Iowa. Now I know what to do! I have three tackle warehouse boxes of fall baits and line. Time to get setup. Just hope that we actually get a fall here in Iowa and not straight to snow lol.
Love your content Debo! Always look forward to your videos
Thanks man, appreciate you watching 👊
That’s pretty much how I fish in the fall too. Use a fluke a lot more than swimbaits and down sized worms t-rigged instead of Ned rigs. About the same thing with similar results. Great vid! Your imformative posts are always top notch. Really enjoy them 👍👍
Appreciate that a lot man.
Really good info, thank you. I'm still taking it all in right now. I've never done Fall fishing. Fall was always my busy season at work so Spring and Summer were my fishing times. Now I am going full on with a Fall fishing line up. Really jazzed about it‼️👍. Because I haven't done it before, I'll be stocking up on several of your top 5. That should get me started off very well as I build up my confidence for Fall 🎣. Thanks again for all you do for all of us and our budget minded wallets. ❤️ That‼️.
Hope the info help. Good luck this fall 👊
Great information! You are very knowledgeable on fishing techniques, equipment, etc... and you share it in a way that anyone can understand it! I have learned so much from this type of video. Keep teaching us about the different baits, hooks, equipment, and all we need to know about fishing! I would love to catch a big fish but I would much rather just catch fish regardless of size! Thanks for the hard work you do to make videos!
The thanks all goes to folks like you who watch 👊
Great video 👍thx Debo!!
Another timely spot on informative vid!
Great info! Was taking notes as fast as I can....anxious to get onto the ned rig baits. (as a bank fisherman, I truly appreciate input like yours that help those without boats...which seem to be the focus of most other youtube videos I seen)
It's my pleasure to try and help. I'm no pro but happy to share the things I use. Tight lines 👊
Your tips have really helped sharpen my angling skills and enjoyment. Thanks for the fantastic content and keep it up! +1 on the ned rig. The jerk bait would also the in my top 5 for fall.
Thanks for watching. Glad that my tips have helped 👊
watch hundreds of fishing videos, but out of all of them, your the best. seriously tightlines jim c
Awesome! I'll try those this fall
Shout out from BassGrabbers tournament Trail. Love the loyalty to bank fishing. I fish bank tournament trail in North Texas.
Awesome video dude 🤙🏼
Very helpful information for everyone. I enjoy learning from you
Thanks man, hope it helps out!
I had luck the other day with the Ned Rig using a Googan Rattlin' Ned Moon Cake color. These little stick baits rattle. Always enjoy your videos. They are so helpful.
Lovely video really good advice I love the spinnerbait 💪 💪👍😊
I love watching your videos you put in so much time and effort and I really appreciate the quality content
Thanks for the vid my man! I alway a walk away learning something.
Appreciate you watching man 👊
Nice. Thanks for this. Gonna work one of those topwater lures along with my usual senko or jig.
DEBO,
What am I gonna do with you? You never fail to constantly give me new things to learn about bank fishing. All I can say is Thank you. I love your videos. Keep it up.
Jim McCool Wichita, KANSAS
New to Bass fishing and absolutely loved this video. Great job describing the 5, from size, color, technique and so on. Very insightful.
Thank you for watching and hope it helps 👊
Great info ty for these videos.
Thanks Debo ! Still lovin your vids !
This is exactly the kind of video I needed. Thanks Debo.
Hope it helps out 👊👊👊
Debo, that's why I'm watching every one of your videos, I don't know where the bait is in the water column! Until then I just "keep grinding".
Dude thank you. I started fishing a few months ago and I am struggling lol. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Great vid Debo. Totally agree, my favorite weedless man head is flatlands. This past yr I’ve been using the jewel lifted Ewg, and I think I like them as much if not more. Ha ha. Another thing speaking of Z man, the spring the bugZ What is my number one! God bless!
Love the flashy swimmers. Great info
Love em too. Hope you're doing well brother 👊
Thank you so much for a very informative video on lures.Im an old man but learning to fish with new rigs.Keep the videos coming.
Appreciate you watching sir!
Debo! Awesome information haven't had time to fish been busy fighting these fires out here in California but I'm home now so my son and I will be heading out to a pond this weekend. I really appreciate that info! Thanks!
Dang man, stay safe out there. Good luck hitting the pond!
Great information as always and thanks for the lure recommendations. Jerkbaits might be a good option to add to the list.
Oh yeah, jerkbaits definitely come out as it gets colder!
Score, got some new baits to try now! Thanks Debo! You’re a wealth of knowledge and entertainment 😂😂
Haha hope the vids help. Thanks for watching 👊
Great info! I’ll be trying the Ned rig next time.
Great info! The cool breeze had me wanting to try some different set ups. Lipless & jerk bait worked great this past weekend. Going to have to get some of those erg ned heads. Lost about 5 open hooks last trip out. Your content is always appreciated!
Yes, those ewg ned heads help a lot! Thanks for watching 👊
Checking in to make sure I'm ready -- Thanks D! BTW, I tend to add a short mono leader (6" -12") to my braid when working topwater spooks, poppers, etc to mitigate the braid tangles. I'm a big squarebill and jerkbait fan in the fall too.
Yes, a mono leadet helps a ton for those if you use braid! Thanks for watching 👊
Love the swimbait, lipless and regular crank bait, and ned rig.
Just started learning the Ned rig. Caught a chunk on TRD Yoga Pants just the other day. Looking forward to trying other flavors.
Good video. Can't wait to get my first real topwater bite while walking the dog.
thanks for the useful information great video
I've had good luck this fall using frogs in NW Iowa ... love the weedless side of it, just have to give it a second for the fish to suck it in before you set the hook. Thanks for the tips and advice!
Awesome thanks for the advice
Great video Debo. Here in Florida the swim baits3.5 to 4.5 inch and Texas rig worms work the best for me.
Cant go wrong with any of these dude! Tight lines from RSF. 👊🏼💥
Thanks man, appreciate you stopping by to watch!
I have been really enjoying fishing swimbaits lately! Bass Pro Sassy Sally is pretty legit and easy on the wallet too
Thanks Debo! Another awesome video. This is my first fall fishing and just throwing some soft bait worms Texas rigged. I’ll have to throw some of the baitfish styles over the next week.
Yeah, give those a shot. Good luck 👊
Another awesome video Devon! I would have to agree with your choices. I’m also a big fan of buzzbaits this time of year as well!
Always appreciate you brother 👊
DEBO'S Fishing likewise my brother 👊
Always good info. My fall go to is a bluegill swim jig as well as the Reaction Innovation Skinny or Little dipper on a 1/8oz belly weighted swimbait hook and a screw lock. If I need to slow down, i'll go with a T rigged worm or a ned rig.
Agreed, all of those are good picks!
My 11-year old daughter caught the biggest blue gill I've personally seen on a ned rig last night. She was amped up for the rest of the night!
That's awesome! Congrats on her big bluegill catch!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge for bank anglers! My son and I are getting big into the Ned Rig. My son just caught a 4lb 1oz Largemouth on a Ned Rig a few nights ago.
Awesome! Great catch for your son!
Flag Jigheads and rubber craw swimmers! Again bro. Great video!! I’ve been awol from the channel for a couple of weeks. I see I missed some good ones.
All good man. Always appreciate your support 👊
You’re an encyclopedia of information. I’m taking notes like like I’m in middle school. Lol
Thanks brotha. New feesher friend here and looking forward to applying everything I learn and having a hell of a time. (Wish I got more free lures too) lol
Thanks again Debo.
Appreciate the kind words man. Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. Hope the vids can help👊
Really awesome video Debo. Great detailed breakdown of each bait and combo, much appreciated! Side note: I guarantee that if you come up with some kind of merchandise (hats, t-shirts, hoodies), so many of us would buy it up, you could buy twice as much gear/tackle! I'd be more than happy to rock a Debo hat/hoodie all the time. Just a thought brother.
I need to get some of that figured out. I've had a number of folks ask!
Another great video.
Love the Cotton Cordell Rayburn Red Spot. A killer in spring around grass.Works in 1/2 and 1/4 oz sizes.
Third time I've watched this video. Very helpful man, thank you.
Love those lipless crankbaits, especially that Warpig. I lose way to many though they get snagged way to easy.
Yeah, they do like to find snags 🤣
Another rock solid video man. Let's get out again before it's too late!
Hey guy! Let's go soon, that cold weather is coming. Hit me up and let's set a time.
I LOVE the chatterbait! Feeling it thump thru the water, til it gets SMACKED! Its possible that I've mentioned that before 😂😂. I am def going to give that walking bait a try! I have a bone colored Heddon one I'm gonna work this fall. Also going to try to get one on the jointed swimbait. I have a couple River 2 Sea swimbaits. I have yet to catch a fish on either one 🤦♂️. Maybe this is my lucky year 🤞. Thanks for your informative video! Love the details and color explanations and tips and tricks. Great 👍 as always! Keep em comin!
Heck yeah, the heddon super spook Jr is money! Good luck my man!
My main man Debo!!! Love the content bud 👌
Appreciate you watching my friend 👊

Heck yeah, congratulations on the new PB!
Good stuff bro
Great info kind sir
Great content! Thank you.
So far my go to has been the ned rig and the reaction innovations skinny dipper weightless texas rigged but it has been a struggle for me idk maybe I'm doing something wrong but first time I have been fall fishing when I was a kid didn't know as much as I do know thanks to you Debo!! I wouldn't have been throwing none of the stuff I currently have been if it wasn't for thank you so much for all the info, knowledge, and ofcourse entertainment lol tight lines bro!!
I'm honored to hear that my vids have helped! Thank you for watching 👊
That 13 fishing dual pitch is becoming my favorite walking bait has a real good sound to it
Excellent 👍
