Great bashing vid. That SH is kickass. Shows that people should be asking what PIPE you're using, not just the engine. 1/10 2wd nitro trucks are a riot. So much fun! Shame they're barely being made anymore; Rustler is the last one :(
My SH.18 Slide Carburetor fits in my Nitro Sport, think the nitro sports have a little more room than the rustler. But I also used a wider servo horn to help that too. Looks like a great time now I need to get mine back out and running lol, awesome Videos as always!
Nice! That's good to know! We were going to run slid on Richard's rustler but the fitment was very tight. So we stuck with Rotary. And man these little trucks rock! They are a ton of fun. And thanks for watchin! Will be more soon! KBN 😎🍻
I wish I had some nitro bashing buddies so I can show off my Jato killer, My "Beast Sport" AKA Traxxas nitro sport. Yes I said nitro sport but its nothing like anyone has even seen before.
@@thebug4046 The sport? I can't say over UA-cam comments. I'm not trying to be a dick but I don't want to give away all my secrets to the nitro short course guys that race. Lets just say it uses quite a few parts from other trucks and allot of those parts are custom fit to my own design and specifications. Allot of special mods, a 3D printer, & hours of trial and error. You might be surprised to know it still uses the same stock single speed transmission it came with, (with some tweak's of course). I just hate driving it because it eats fuel and the good fuel around me (Western NY) is like $60US for a gallon of 30%! I just wish Traxxas didn't give up on nitro and made a nitro version of the Rustler 4x4 or even the XRT, Maybe a new engine to go with it like a "3.3R" or something!

I have a question and that is I’ve built a .12 1:8th scale road car I’ve removed every single thing on that car that is isn’t needed such as battery tray and servo trays and made it rwd etc it currently weighs around 4.8lb and is a absolute monster but my issue now is it’s so light it has wheel spin at top speed so you think that even if I add a spoiler from your experience with this hobby do rc spoilers do anything or is the surface area not large enough to do much ?
Love love love the rustler ❤
They running minty man👌

Thanks man! And yes sadly that's true. The rustler is a blast to drive just like the RC10 stuff light and very easy to work on 💯😎
Great to see you all having fun reliving some of the pressure for a couple of hours👍
Thanks brotha 💯🍻😎

Yeah I hear ya it kinda sucks running by yourself. And what's all done to that sport?
