That is true, we just tell guys to use the solid bar cause most of what’s out there that’s budget friendly for this chassis is same diameter. So it’s easier to run the solid bar without breaking the bank.
@@2ndshiftracing I’m looking into doing a full exhaust (it’s bone stock) lowering it two inches and getting bigger injectors and fuel pump to run e85 and later down the road I’ll or end up doing a bottom end and throwing some boost at it. I’m just not super familiar with the irs on them I just bought all the rear bushings and x axis ball joints and it was a pain to get the bushings they were on back order.
Probably my favorite UA-cam car at the moment. Love the simplicity.

On that ARB, speaking from a physics standpoint, it’s unnecessary to use a solid bar. A larger diameter and thicker wall tube will eliminate the flex.

Isn’t the 99-04 cobra irs ? I’ve got a 99 and it’s irs. This is my first video seeing on the car, is it axle swapped ?
This car is an SRA Swap. But yes the 03/04 Cobras are IRS. We’ll do contents in the future for IRS guys.
