Absolutely beautiful car!! Unbelieveable and im an sn95 guy so this is porn to me! My cousin has a red 94 cobra with a procharger (d-series) and a 331 stroker and is a stick car as well. Really crazy how close his car and this one are. He has an 8.8 rear and no torque boxes. Mine is a 96 gt but is getting a sbf transplant with a turbo and th400 tranny. I do plan on going with a treadstone intercooler as well and full exhaust. Can wait to get pinned in my kirkey seat!! Kudos to Nick for sticking with this car and building it into what it is today...a MONSTER!!! Thanks brother tom for bringing this car to the channel..im subscribing because of this car!!
I am not usually a commentor but, I have been driving a stick since before you were born and a double clutch is when you rev the motor (blip) at the same time you engage the clutch, this ensures the smoother shift. They call it rev matching now. Steve McQueen did this in the Bullitt chase seen. Every time he shifts, he revs it twice for more motor sounds and excitement, pushing in your clutch twice is just a waste of energy and clutch spring. Fantastic car sounds great!

Love a nice SN95 pushrod build. I remember that there were always 2 camps of different preferences. Those that went the 363, but some stuck to the 331. More torque out of the 363, but lower piston speed out of the 331. 👍💪🇺🇸🦅
Isn’t the 363 based off an aftermarket block that allows a 4.125” bore? Same stroke so same piston speed. 3.400” stroke for both. The old debate was 331 vs 347. 347 geometry is not optimal for long engine life but it they seem to run strong.

Lol dart blacks aren’t cheap is all I know I know a guy that has over 30k in his camaro and it’s got over 1000hp and he had to rebuild it recently so it becomes 100k cars after awhile but cool car either way man 😎👍🏼 and using an hvac vac pump lol 😂 that’s cool if it works or works I know it’s not an hvac vac pump but pretty cool to see u have some ford stuff on the car too nice ride!!!👍🏼😎 I’m staying ford with mine and want 1000 hp with modular motor u can get them there with turbos and built engine of course👍🏼
Im SHOCKED you have a Mcloud RST..Let alone a 10yr old one on this combo. Mcloud actually doesnt recommend that clutch for exactly the way youre using it ( track, slicks etc) . Mcloud quotes the clutch material isnt designed to stand that abuse..Hmm, confidence for thought!!✔
Driver has alot to do with clutch life too actually. Knowing what you're doing and how to drive goes a long way. The clutch maybe little better than their company is giving it credit for being they're probably just being cautious on their recommendations kind of like tremec under selling what their transmissions can handle.

@@midnight347 An ET of 10.80's is well into roll bar territory. Both NHRA & IHRA, along with every other drag race sanctioning body, requires a minimum of a 5 point roll bar at 11.49 for hard tops and a cage at 9.99 for all cars 2008 or older. Cars 2014 or newer can run as fast as 9.00 without a roll bar or cage as long as they are on DOT tires and all factory safety equipment is retained. They are most likely running the car during test and tune or 'street legal drags' at small local tracks that are desperate for money and let things slide. Any large track, particularly during a real event, would boot them out for going that fast.

It is a custom deal we put together using a GZ motorsports pump and a SN95 Smog pump location/bracket

Pretty sure during this video the car was running Big Stuff ECU, but has since been upgraded to a Holley Dominator ECU.
