    I battle these regularly and I've probably landed about 3 that actually count. This video helped me self-diagnose.

    I don't agree on the fact you need big spins. I can't big spin with a pop but I can big flip. I got big flip before my tre flips. I learned big flips because I did bs flips. Just some more power in your back big to. I'm a big fan of your skating btw. Not hating AT ALL.

      you dont need to know how to big spin or tre, but knowing those two would help

    My bs 180's are garbage, but I got bs Bigspin pretty clean in one day. Is that normal? I just took the pop out at first, so it was pivot, shove pivot. Focusing on doing a bs 180 throws me off.

  • @jamesreachman3797
    @jamesreachman3797 8 років тому +3

    Dope! Do Switch bigspin double kickfip back tailslides next! It's so much harder than just doing a normal switch bigspin flip back tail, how do you get that second flip in there?

    So it's basically a 180 tre flip eh.

    I can do backside bigspin's, as long as i don't pop the board. But as soon as i pop it, i think one of me feet get in the way, and the board flips

  • @Retardino

    Why do these feel so much easier than bs flip

    whenever I try and do these i always get out of control in mid air. I think the body varial and flip part gets me confused and i never know where to catch it. I already know how to tre, bigspin, and bs flip.

    • @macbeth642
      @macbeth642 8 років тому

      just do a big psin and sneak the flick in there. Think about the spin more and just a nice smooth flick. Should work

    • @switchback3638
      @switchback3638 8 років тому +1

      Wind up, twist your shoulders around 70-90 degrees backside, then pop. Your body should be turned a bit before popping. At least that's how I do them

  • @ninjalemurdude

    This may sound dumb, but recently I keep toe touching on every trick. I need help. If I try to lean backwards, jump backwards, or anything else like that, the board just goes even further backwards and I still toe touch. It's frustrating that I can't even land a proper kickflip anymore.

      some fresh wheels go a long way.

    • @ninjalemurdude
      @ninjalemurdude 8 років тому

      +Chad Hakala Haha, is this really my problem? One of my wheels is wearing down faster than the others and got a flatspot around the time I started having problems. I haven't gotten around to getting new wheels though.

    • @chadhakala
      @chadhakala 8 років тому +1

      +ninjalemurdude yeah man, I've been skating probably as long as +sk8vegan and I used to do the same. try different sizes and most importantly shapes, usually the flatter the wheel base the more it's meant for transition only. I recommend Bones or Spitfire. wheels have made all the difference for things like plain 180s and basically everything else. Let your local shop know what kind of skating you do and they will recommend various things.

    I'm so glad your a vegan skater! You've helped me through out my whole summer of what to eat. From vegetarian soon to vegan. Also when I skate I have way more energy, and could skate longer than I ever could! I appreciate you man, keep up the good work! ( you deserve so much more subscribers)

    • @NoirYorkCity
      @NoirYorkCity 6 років тому +4

      i highly doubt it. vegans are a lot weaker than non vegans, you get exhausted way faster cause you dont have enough energy. its only in your head that you have more energy...

    do nollie frontside flip.

    • @TNTBLACKOUT
      @TNTBLACKOUT 7 років тому

      Zakary Namoy I can't do that trick, but you just do a switch frontside flip but you need to weigh your balance differently. Try leaning all different ways. I really hope you learn it man! Hope I didn't come off as trying to act like I know more than you, because I can barely frontside flip😂😂

    • @NAMOYDacreww
      @NAMOYDacreww 7 років тому +2

      how is a nollie frontside flip similar to a sw fs flip.?

    • @TNTBLACKOUT
      @TNTBLACKOUT 7 років тому

      It's the same thing only you're standing on the nose going the oppisite direction instead. It would be same rotation and flick, you'd just need to lean back and shift your weight a little

    • @NAMOYDacreww
      @NAMOYDacreww 7 років тому +2

      I think you'r confusing nollie fs flip with nollie bs flip..

    • @TNTBLACKOUT
      @TNTBLACKOUT 7 років тому

      Zakary Namoy No, they are the same thing. I see now you have frontside and backside confused. It is determined by the direction your right shoulder turns. It's always the same...

    sooo the only thing moving is my body ? the board doesn’t do like a backside?

    • @kylevansickle1891
      @kylevansickle1891 5 років тому

      Your body spins backside 180 and the board does a 360 flip the same way your spinning the bs 180.
