TBH your tutorials are better than Braille. I have nothing against Braille but you go into more deltail about the tricks and everything. Thanks! I am gonna try to learn this one!😀 p.s. can you make a heel flip tutorial
Bro! I approve this trick tip. You really explained it in a way I was hoping for. I just needed that confirmation. Now I understand when people tell via comments they can't wait to try it out. But dang! I can't wait to try this out now. *Respect*.
you are absolutely right about the pressure just on toes...i started trying that the other day and was flipping them so much better! first time i saw someone actually say this.
your videos are maybe some of the best tutorials on youtube. You show all the issues, how to fix them and you show it from different angles. the other youtubers repeat themselves but you seem to know the issues and the solution. thanks bro these videos really help
Literally stopped skating for the first 3 years of college! Just copped a board yesterday, watched this tutorial and started busting out tres like it was my high school days. Thanks G!
Dude this was one of the best explanations of a trick i've ever seen. Really broke it down in detail. your vids are sick man, hope you end up with a huge tube following.
I used to know a dude who could only fakie tre. He failed at life. Never learn fakie tres before tres. Jk but fakie tres are fundamentally different because you don't really have to scoop so hard and lean back. You won't land a regular tre unless you can do both of those things.
Awesome tutorial and awesome treflips. I love those spreading the legs in the air. Thanks for the tips!! Your treflips remind me of Edgar Giron´s treflips. Same style. Yeah!
This is the best trick tip in the entire fucking internet.. not just you pin pointed out the wrong u portrayed and and explained it so well in a slow motion video which gives us the CLICK in the brain to realise now the wrong and the right! thank u so much man! more blessing to ur channel! i've followed u since day one ever since u started ur channel and your fb and insta.. go skate vegan boys!
1st problem Treflip problem is The Terrain i always practice its so rocky and its not smooth so when i try doing it moving it stops. My 2nd problem is that i know how the scooping works but i cant flip it
If you want a good ollie on that, you're gonna have to clear over the top of the deck which can be scary. Work your way up to it. There's very little ground to cover, its more of a vertical thing.
Damm... thanks for the tutorial, before I landed a tre once about every two days now I can land three in a row a day, highly recomend this video, thanks man keep it up
I have the problem with twisting my shoulders instead of keeping them almost parallel with the board when doing the tre flip. Always working on this one i have the scoop and rotation and can do it just wish i had it more consistently. Great skate hack!
PLANTRIDER has by far the best trick tips videos on youtube. He goes over all the fine details that no one seems to go over and he does it in an intelligent way so we can understand in fine detail. Vegans for life
My problem is not landing it. I can land the tre flip. I just land almost a foot and a half in front of me. It feels more like I'm leaping forward and I guess now that I'm writing this I'm realizing I'm probably not scooping, and I'm more so just jumping in front of me and using the force from me jumping to get the 360 shuv. I'm going to go practice for a bit.
Idk if you already have, but it would nice to have a hard flip skate hack video. for me my problem is i can stick it, but my feet for some reason always land like a pretzl. if you have any hacks to helps with this then please make a video. thanks for the tre flip tricks
From what I've experienced, it is also really important to have your left shoulder (if you're regular) to be leaning in front of you. You can't tre flip if your left shoulder leans towards your back or ahead of the nose or your deck... Check his shoulders on the video - they need to be somehow parallel to your board :p I hope this means some to anyone cuz that's what is my issue -- thx for the video plantrida ;)
Front shuv state hacks!! When I do front shuv I can only do it when I pop earlier than I jump than the other tricks I do and it feel wieird and hard to land
i agree with this, i can't really get the board to front shuv in front of me, no matter how much pressure i use scooping when the board in that direction
someone help. I always tend to only get my back foot on I mean I'm commiting all the way I almost landed a few but my front foot always goes down first any tips
to make it higher, make sure both feet are behind the halfway of the board so that all your weight is on the tailside. Watch 00:52 compared to the one after it.
lean more in the direction the board is going to fix that, because if you lean too much to the left, it will go to the right, if you lean forward, it will go backwards
how does one simply get his back foot on the tre flip safely lol. I sprang my ankle one time now I have this mental blockage I'm so close the flip is good and everything just can't seem to put back foot on.
If your having trouble with not flicking enough and always ending up 3 shoving. Try to flick earlier. You want to flick straight foward. You can also flick to the toe side of your board. It worked for me but may not work for everybody.
My treflips I land maybe 1/10 tries , I used to have my foot in the pocket like you advised not to do , but ever since moving my foot back on the tail, in normal tre position my scoop is way less so it’s a lot harder, and also my shoulders turn and don’t stay square, any tips on that ?
Everytime I try to tre flip My board ends up going in front of me. When I try to scoop I can't flick but when I try to flick I can't really scoop. #Help.. I don't know what my problem is.
i allways land whit my fronfoot on board and my backfoot close to the tail but it lands on the ground but my board does a nice pop and spins perfectly but when i try getting my back foot on the board my treflips dosent pop or goes like varial and it looks ugly as hell? what am i doing wrong?
BRUH literally same when I go for front foot only catch like with my backfoot going on the ground I get perfect tre rotation and front foot catch everytime when I then decide to try lean back more and commit for both feets I dont get the spin right, and tend to have the board land behind me
@@sontiyo7113 yeah ill do pretty decent treflips now, the more i landed the ugly ones the cleaner it started to look. I aswell started leaning forward more, it helped quite alot
hey, I've recently learned tre flips, I get them not that often yet but I make a big pressure on my back foot like u in the video, but I do not flick at all, I just lift my front foot up away like for shuvit. Is that okay or should I relearn? is the flick important?
+Ben Mitchell yeah ur tres look quite similar to mine. I think flick is not so important cuz it is still a tre flip. it is better to focus on getting them better and better than focus on doing it "right". I used to think I'm a weirdo, but I'll keep doing my tres like that and get some steezy ass tres in a few years :) good job on that stairs btw
Can someone help me? I have been trying to learn tre flips for 2 years and I can’t learn them. I try and try but I can’t land with both feet on. I’ve been skating for almost 4 years. I can do all the basics easily. I used to skate 8 and recently went up to 8.25. I thought moving up in size would help me but my tre flip attempts look the same. My shoe size is 9-9.5. I have a brother who skated the same time I did and he can tre flip but I can’t. I am 18 yrs old. My brother tells me that my tre flip stance looks a bit weird. My back foot isn’t facing toward the nose or tail, it is flat. I can form a tre flip easy and land with my front foot. Once I try to land it, for some reason my body rotates. A frontside rotation. I have landed a couple tre flip sex change and tre flip revert but I still can’t land a tre flip. My body always twist even when I try my best to keep a straight body. I recorded myself in slow motion and my left arm swings a lot. If any one has tips it would help a lot thx.
I watched this video 100 times and now I can tre flip. True story. This is the best tutorial on UA-cam.
TBH your tutorials are better than Braille. I have nothing against Braille but you go into more deltail about the tricks and everything. Thanks! I am gonna try to learn this one!😀 p.s. can you make a heel flip tutorial
True
not true but this is a good channel
Btw learn Heelflip before this 🤣🤣
Mika P. 3 years ago 😐
Fuck braille
One of the most well explained detailed treflips videos out there!
now that was a fantastic skate hack, nicely done
The toe leverage thing is just what I needed thanks dude!!!
Bro! I approve this trick tip. You really explained it in a way I was hoping for. I just needed that confirmation. Now I understand when people tell via comments they can't wait to try it out. But dang! I can't wait to try this out now.
*Respect*.
you are absolutely right about the pressure just on toes...i started trying that the other day and was flipping them so much better! first time i saw someone actually say this.
alex d put pressure on my back toes or front toes
your videos are maybe some of the best tutorials on youtube. You show all the issues, how to fix them and you show it from different angles. the other youtubers repeat themselves but you seem to know the issues and the solution. thanks bro these videos really help

Dude this was one of the best explanations of a trick i've ever seen. Really broke it down in detail. your vids are sick man, hope you end up with a huge tube following.
You have great tre's. Great vid as always!
Lucas Rayan lmfao what is wrong with the both of you
I have tre flips down but I always catch it with both of my feet I can't catch the board with my front foot. Any suggestions or tips?
Try to extend your front foot more like a kickflip without flipping too hard and your foot should automatically stop the rotation...
is it bad I learned fakie big flips, then fakie tres and Ive been trying normal tre flips for atleast 2 years.
Same here lol
yooo me too i think its the perfect way to learning tres
I used to know a dude who could only fakie tre. He failed at life. Never learn fakie tres before tres.
Jk but fakie tres are fundamentally different because you don't really have to scoop so hard and lean back. You won't land a regular tre unless you can do both of those things.
+sk8vegan I've landed tres before just never consistently
same. just started trying Nollie tres and got them. I can't even Nollie flip. or regular treflip consistently. I always land on the nose.
thanks man!! i had this trick in my younger years and have been watching trick tips in hopes of getting my 3 flips back and yesterday was the day!
Awesome tutorial and awesome treflips. I love those spreading the legs in the air. Thanks for the tips!! Your treflips remind me of Edgar Giron´s treflips. Same style. Yeah!

1st problem Treflip problem is
The Terrain i always practice
its so rocky and its not smooth
so when i try doing it moving
it stops.
My 2nd problem
is that i know how the scooping works
but i cant flip it
This is a very solid tricktip.
I'd like to see one on how to ollie a normal 90-degree transition hip (frontside or both), I just can't figure it out.
You mean like two quarter pipes set up perpendicular?
sk8vegan exactly. Can't get my head round it and you see it at almost every skatepark.
If you want a good ollie on that, you're gonna have to clear over the top of the deck which can be scary. Work your way up to it. There's very little ground to cover, its more of a vertical thing.
how about a tip on muscle memory or consistency? I can now land varial heelflips thanks to your skate hack about it!
for that I would personally recommend doing it over and like try to get 2 in a row then 3 and so on
this helped make my tres more solid i was so used to doing impossibles that everytime i landed it was always the nose
Damm... thanks for the tutorial, before I landed a tre once about every two days now I can land three in a row a day, highly recomend this video, thanks man keep it up
I have the problem with twisting my shoulders instead of keeping them almost parallel with the board when doing the tre flip. Always working on this one i have the scoop and rotation and can do it just wish i had it more consistently. Great skate hack!
skate hack on hardflip I have them down but I have trouble sticking it off stairs some times
This video really helped with how u said the back foot shouldnt be completely on
PLANTRIDER has by far the best trick tips videos on youtube. He goes over all the fine details that no one seems to go over and he does it in an intelligent way so we can understand in fine detail. Vegans for life
Your treflips are so steeze

I'm going to go practice for a bit.
I’ve landed just from scoop a few times, but I cannot flick the board at all. I can’t scoop the 360 if I try to flick it. My legs don’t work
do I need the front foot to kick to board to complete the tre flip? because I can to 360 shove but I can't do tre flip.
should i distribute my weight like a varial flip?
This is the best tre flip video I’ve ever watched
please do a skate hack on how to switch heel stairs or switch tres on flat please
Idk if you already have, but it would nice to have a hard flip skate hack video. for me my problem is i can stick it, but my feet for some reason always land like a pretzl. if you have any hacks to helps with this then please make a video. thanks for the tre flip tricks
Very good tutorial, very in depth and detailed, thank you for this and keep up the good work.

Its just practice
LOL that could be said for any trick.
Bernard Tan foot positioning
I want to get this consistent. I can land them but with a lot of effort and now I wanna skate but it's 11 pm
sir when i treflip the board goes to far in front
someone help. I always tend to only get my back foot on I mean I'm commiting all the way I almost landed a few but my front foot always goes down first any tips
For me I end up putting my back foot on the ground after the scoop. Anyone got a tip for that?
what if you flick too hard ? when I tre I flick harder than I should and it makes it feel akward
whenever i treflip the board does a 270 kickflip and it goes way in front of me. Any tips?
PRESSURE
but how do you make it higher ? i can do tre all the time but its ugly 😢😢tried to pop hard but still the same
Make sure your back foot rises high enough.
Same deal with kickflips.
Mishal Red panda also bring your feet up quickly and speed kinda helps get higher
thanks guys :D
Mishal Red panda no problem fam
to make it higher, make sure both feet are behind the halfway of the board so that all your weight is on the tailside. Watch 00:52 compared to the one after it.
My back foot lands on the nose. Help?
This was the best tre flip trick tip I have ever seen
You deserve so many more subscribers bro 👊🏾
My tre flips are really high and are Slow but when I scoop hard it goes behind me
Same
SUDDEN Luke don't jump forward on to it you'll just keep on landing on the nose try imagining land on the bolts and catching it with your front foot
lean more in the direction the board is going to fix that, because if you lean too much to the left, it will go to the right, if you lean forward, it will go backwards
Youre leaning too far forward
best tutorial ever once my ankle heels i will try improve my 3flips with these tips!
best tutorial on youtube in my opinion, this helped me learn them
how does one simply get his back foot on the tre flip safely lol. I sprang my ankle one time now I have this mental blockage I'm so close the flip is good and everything just can't seem to put back foot on.
Pretend like it’s a pop shuv but stay in the air longer. U gotta commit
when i do the tre flip. i land only with my backfoot, any tips?
I get the motion every time. The board always gets away from me though
The common mistake is leaning too far forward, try leaning more backwards - Or maybe try to envision you landing bolts, worked for me :)
good tre flips. good tips. good video. thanks dude.
If your having trouble with not flicking enough and always ending up 3 shoving. Try to flick earlier. You want to flick straight foward. You can also flick to the toe side of your board. It worked for me but may not work for everybody.
do you have any first hand experience with chia seeds? I heard Nigel nka talking about them and I'm considering buying a bag
My treflips I land maybe 1/10 tries , I used to have my foot in the pocket like you advised not to do , but ever since moving my foot back on the tail, in normal tre position my scoop is way less so it’s a lot harder, and also my shoulders turn and don’t stay square, any tips on that ?
Servant Dagon, indestructible
Everytime I try to tre flip My board ends up going in front of me. When I try to scoop I can't flick but when I try to flick I can't really scoop. #Help.. I don't know what my problem is.
Thanks so much ! This video really helped me understand how a treflip works and what I was doing wrong
i allways land whit my fronfoot on board and my backfoot close to the tail but it lands on the ground but my board does a nice pop and spins perfectly but when i try getting my back foot on the board my treflips dosent pop or goes like varial and it looks ugly as hell? what am i doing wrong?

I aswell started leaning forward more, it helped quite alot
haha thanks bro i just landed my first one rn from learning were to put my back foof

Is your name plan trider or plant rider?
what is the different of treflip and 360flip?
There is no difference, just two names for the same trick.
Dude could you do a Flip bs crooked skatehack? I cant grind that trick! Awesome vídeos bro, keep killing it!
I swear to god this is the best video ever I landed my first treflip!
Very helpful advice man.thanks so much
what's the difference between a tre flip and a varial?
Tre flip (360 flip): 360 shove it with a kickflip
Varial flip: Shove it with a kickflip
Aye bro was that park at the end lbj?
Hey I saw you were wearing these vegan skate shoes? What do you think about them ?
I really need help with my tre flips. ):

Where is eyesight like wheredo u look with tres
Thanks you helped me a lot , even better then aaron kyro , I learned this trick today after whatching your video
don't you wear laces on your back shoe?
GeckoMkII yah I noticed to
such a good tutorial. quick. easy. understandable. thanks
how long did it take you to learn this trick?
your tre flips are immaculate
i havent rolled away from a tre flip but im 100% sure im leaning too far forward and not leaning back some more
i can’t get the scoop down. i keep doing varials 😭
benderhky17 practice scooping hard with ur back foot
My problem is I can't get the board to flip
Really good trick tip. Thanks
Bro thank u so much. I lost tre flips for soooo long and after this video I landed it
hey, I've recently learned tre flips, I get them not that often yet but I make a big pressure on my back foot like u in the video, but I do not flick at all, I just lift my front foot up away like for shuvit. Is that okay or should I relearn? is the flick important?

i think its okay to not use at all ur front foot.. felipe gustavo have tres like that and its so fucking clean.. he can treflip crook anything
but i dont know if it will affect learning bigflips.. i dont have bigflips yet.. lol
Well if you wanna learn tre doubles you might wana flick
best skate tip ive watched for360flip
Your tre’s are so good bro tysm for the tips and I hope i can get more consistent bc im ass haha 😊💖
Thanks for the skate hack. Great work as always.
I have hardflips consistent. But tres are sop
hard for me
The worst thing you could do is make a habit of doing varial flips. You'll hqve the flip but the scoop is twice as important
Love this trick but every time try this I end up doing a nightmare flip or 180 varial double kick flip :(
Those tricks are even better

FC Barcelona1999 Just forget everything you know about tre flips and start fresh
Woah you're in San Antonio ?
Thank you so much i think this will help me a lot
I never understood how people tre flip with their back foot in the concave or "pocket" as people say, it needs to be on the tip!!
Best trick tips ive seen.
