Kibitz, when you hit glitch like in 25:00, you need to press Ctrl and it should works fine. It's Unreal Engine 4 glitch which will be repaired with UE5 in Update 8.
For that one cramped floor with the constructors above, swap the foundations for the frame foundations so instead of having a low ceiling you're just *in the middle of the machine*.
I love his streams as background content... nice calm and you get to see the madness between the boops... but I would most definitely love super cut videos of 1 to 2hs for the projects... but I also understand that it would just add a bigger workload to kibz who is already going mad building and editing all of this for us hahahaha
I actually find myself using the forbidden one somewhat often, I usually end up with a few extra caterium ingots in my projects, especially with pure caterium refining supplying the ingots. It's just so space efficient to just convert that into wire right there
I tend to watch your satisfactory videos at my grandad's with his dogs on the sofa. Whenever the squeaking sound pops up in your videos the dogs are always startled and it's hilarious!
Thank you for finally addressing what is glaringly obvious to me but seemingly a mystery to most players. Fluid dynamics are so simple if you just don't ask maximum flow from a pipe. I work with pipes and pumps irl at a zinc refinery and this is just how it works there.
When everything ALWAYS just “happens” to work out in your videos. Pretty sure every movement in this game is precalculated in the mysterious notes you take behind the scene. Every “coincidence” is just predetermined entertainment. Love the videos btw… definitely the most relaxing part of my day
In case this hasn't already been said, try fixing the bug you are experiencing at 25:05 by pressing your aligner keybind. It seems like when this happens to me its been caused by getting stuck in aligning mode, and that toggles it off and fixes the belts.
Actually Kibz, there's two scenarios for Caterium Wire. The other is when you're just starting out and have no real use for Caterium yet, run the ore through a Smelter and you save a huge amount on power and building count compared to any other Wire recipe. The ridiculous conversion rate also means it's very easy to dismantle when you do have a better use for Caterium later.
To fix the glitch, where you can‘t connect belts to outputs/inputs, usually what fixes it for me, is just pressing ctrl (in your case right click I think). Cool content brother, keep up the nice work :)
FIX FOR BELTS NOT CONNECTING: press your snap to guidelines button (middle mouse by default I think) and they should be able to connect, I think its a toggle able thing so like if you press the guideline button again it will break it self

This game is already insane and it's potential hurts my head. Every time I watch a video or play the game I have like 100 ideas to improve or change the game..
I've kept having that issue of belts not connecting, I've found that just saving and then loading the save fixes it, you don't need to fully restart the game

All I'm sayin is, they put valves in so you can control the amounts of liquids in pipes. Why have they never added a way to filter the amounts of resources on belts to the smart splitter, so you don't have to build spaghet junction to load balance?
When you need all of this just to automate the endgame to a reasonable level, it kind of makes you wonder what a lowly gamer like me is supposed to do in this game.

I have the same glitch. Ctrl does not fix it.
I usually leave thevarea and do something else for a bit, and it fixes itself.

@ImKibitz For the belt connection issue its because your belts are in snap mode! Just press ctrl and its fixed! Hope this helps

For the glitch with belts not connecting. Try clicking your control button. Something happens in the game and it thinks you're in snap to mode.
I found that the glitch that doesn't allow belt connections, is undone by pressing your align/grid placement button it will stop the glitch

The belt glitch is very common you can just press the CTRL button and it will go away :) no need to reset

You should check out the fused wire recipe, it wastes less caterium
If you are having touble whith the belt glitch i wood try pressing control. That uselly works for me
