I love these! And I love drop cloth projects!!! I am not on Facebook, but I have an old barn board that I put pockets on for mail, I just put an initial for each persons name! I absolutely hate mail and it is my nemesis but I try to go through it every day, weed out junk and shred what needs to be shredded. So, our dog barks every day at 10:20 am when the mail person drops the mail in the door, and I roll my eyes and sigh because it’s here! 😂😂😂😂

What great ideas! And I agree that staging makes all the difference. By the way, the really large hoops are for hand quilting on your lap. Like the largest oval that was in your pile. They are beefier and smoother wood.
Julie I loved your hoops and drop cloths. I, too, have a hoard of hoops, now thanks to you I know what to do with some of them. I really love all of your old wood, it is priceless and the great thing is that you know that. I have been making plant stands out of old lamps. I will post a few for you to look at. You knocked it out of the ballpark with the embroidery hoops! My wheels are turning! I bought the crockery stamps because of you. Waiting for the farmhouse stamps right now. Oh that rabbit and sheep! And I also got a couple stencils coming too. One a Paris and the other is one to make the painted lines. I know you can use painters tape but this is already measured perfectly. I’m going to harbor freight this week and getting me some drop cloth! I think I will tea stain one and see how it comes out. Thanks girl! Keep those ideas coming! I’m obsessed!

Absolutely would love it if you posted more drop cloth projects! I finally picked some up. I was drooling over those fence wood pockets. The lace one WOW! We have an old VERY weathered cedar plank fence named Ol' Rickety. It's pretty much on it's last leg. Everyday the wind blows hard I wonder if it's going to go. After your video it'll be like " oh darn the fence fell down." Thanks Julie!

Yes girl! Lots more drop cloth cuz now I have way to much on my hands. I am obsessed with drop cloth ever since you said something. 😂 Its cheap and so much for the cost way cheaper than going to the fabric store. Just brilliant! 🤍 I really enjoyed the wood fence pieces! I love seeing how those junky pieces turn out so amazing! I’m definitely gonna have to make one for my kitchen! I love how you styled that one up! 🥰

Ironically a couple weeks ago I made 4 of the 14" embroidery hoop "organizational" pockets. 3 for my granddaughters & when I texted the pic to a friend, she HAD to have one, too!! Saw them on Jean Truelove's video. Mine have a backing fabric & 2 layers of pockets. The shorter pocket has vertical seams to use for pencils, rotary cutters, narrow rulers, whatever. They have batting between the layers.
As always I LOVE, LOVE your drop cloth ones, though, too!! And the stamps-I really need to get some of those :)

I painted a silver tray today like your oval one, I kept hearing my mother "freak out" in my head, she has gone on to be with the Lord...But mine turned out really nice. I don't know if I can get anywhere close to your price...maybe $10. We will see...I love your embroidery hoop projects!!! So so creative.
i think $10 is a good price on a small oval one. i know, people get mad when i paint it but it just doesn't sell unpainted, so now it has a new life for someone to enjoy it.
