Thank you for these hoop ideas. I have some of my Grandmother’s that are metal and rusty. As they are rusty I couldn’t use them with my embroidery. Now I know what I can do with them.
I made one with an old tablecloth that had some stains and some old torn dollies. Then I added some crystal pearls in an off white color. I put a shabby bow at the top.

I had an old table scarf of my mom’s or one she did for the top of the chest of drawers. It was in terrible shape but the embroidery she had done was in good shape. Anyway, put the embroidery piece in a hoop. Absolutely love this doily and lace hoop. Setting here thinking I should do one for sisters Birthday in February.
Hello from "The Wild n' Wonderful Hills of West Virginia!!!" I am a newbie and I just love the videos that I have seen. I do have a question.... I craft myself..one of the crafts I do is cardmaking so I do a lot of stamping. In many videos I have seen where the stamping is not done on cardstock why do you not put the stam on a clear block then ink it up and then stamp. It is so much easier to stamp this way. I have stamped on material and paper. I think it is more difficult to to do it without it being on a block. I have wondered if there is a specific reason or if using a block isn't known if one doesn't make cards or scrapbook. Thank you for having honoring God! Have Blessed Day!! 🙏💜🌲😇
I had a question Lisa just like tea staining is it possible to water down the tea rose paint and stain the flour sack cloths to make those rosettes also? I wasn’t sure if we could do that with the chalk paint as well? I do it with my solo wood flowers but I have never done it with fabric. Have you ever done that with fabrics?
