Hmmmm... the Big Buddha perhaps? :] If you guys ever visit Hong Kong again, I'd be happy to be the tour guide! There are beautiful places we locals go to a lot where tourists usually don't know of. :D
Jan & Ann:I am hoping for you guys to releases a new remarkable videos this week from Hong Kong,China in May of 2023❤❤❤Remarkable video to watch in great joy 2023❤❤❤
I remember when I was also there in Victoria Peak. So so beautiful. Feels like in NYC - the skyscraper. And also the food in HK is insane. I hope I can visit again soon.🤍🤍🤍
Ann & Jan:Hong Kong is one of the BEST on the globe today’s with so many great skyscrapers, hotels, restaurants, beaches, entertainment centers, etc. in May of 2023❤❤❤Remarkable video to watch today’s from Hong Kong,China with thousands of tourists on vacation in 2023❤❤❤❤
I am from HK. Thank you for making such great videos about our city. You guys probably came when the Peak Tram was closed for renovation. It has reopened after a massive facelift back in August 2023. It’s the most popular way to go up to the Peak for tourists. It’s a great ride and it only takes about 15 minutes.
Love how informative your videos are - super handy for tourists! I'm going later this year so find local tips super handy! Thanks guys - great videos! 😃
There is a lot of MTR stations, it really depends on where you're going. Were you aware that from your hotel to the Peak Tram cable car station is only a 10 min walk. You wouldn't even need to take the bus, and you can take that cable car all the way up to the Peak Also that is fog, pollution will be extremely hazy and brown. Love your videos, you guys made me miss HK
Hii! Yes, we were aware. We actually were already out and about before we started the vlog so we had to bus instead of train cus we weren’t near our hotel at that time ☺️ and thank you ☺️
The Hongkong MRT downstairs is amazing, give it a try, will be faster and take you around amazing Hongkong too. Both the bus and Mrt downstairs is good, I've done both
Thanks jan and ann my mom work there for almost 12yrs as ofw and now she's in saskachewan and sometimes she visit me here in bc i wish i can visit hk...again ty for this tour i really love it❤

You guys missed out the tram that takes you from Central to the Peak. Much more enjoyable ride then taking the bus up and down. But nonetheless HK is a beautiful and fun city to visit. Glad you guys enjoy it.
Great you enjoyed HK, I think I walked by you on the street when you were here :) The Peak is not nearly the highest mountain/hill in Hong Kong, but its highest on Hong Kong island!
Hi Jan and Ann. Love the vlogs. I like the fact that you guys are showing tips and tricks on saving money while traveling. Love the budget conscious travel content.
I love you both already and I’ve only watched one video! 🥰🥰🥰 I am planning to visit Hong Kong with my Mom and this is super helpful! ❤❤❤ Thank you! 😘😘😘
7:25 Victoria Peak isn't the highest peak of Hong Kong, but it has the best city view; the highest peak is Tai Mo Shan, which is roughly 957m above sea level; but it is located in a more rural area without a city view.
Nice vlog! Enjoy HK but more it’s still much quieter than the heady days of 2018! Tai Mo Shan is the highest peak. Nearly double Viic Peak. I think Victoria peak just makes the top 30th peaks in hilly HK. Lantau where your airplane landed has the hardest steepest peaks. Vic peak is the easiest place to go though. So many transport options. My visitors are usually runners so we run up and then hit up the actual trails. I recommend to normal vic peak visitors to hike up another 20-30 minutes or so up High West via the morning trail. I think the 360 views from there are the best! But fewer people can get up there so vic peak views are more plentiful.
The last time I went to Victoria Peak, I got a bus sickness. And the weather was so foggy that I literally saw nothing. Thank you for sharing the scenery especially in such a satisfactory weather (not so good, but much better than I got)!
i think your hotel is really close to the Admiratly MTR station. it's like a 10 mins walk, you don't need to take the bus. MTR can take you to almost everywhere in hk.
Wow Jan and Ann very cool view from your hotel room and in the city and the Bus has 2 floors where you just swipe a card nice Busses in Hong Kong are better than in the Philippines because from my experience they stop at like 4 different stops and wait like 10 minutes back and fourth and it takes like 2 hours and 30 minutes to get where you want to go to Good ice cream by the way I like Ice Cream 😋😋🍦🍦and that Buffet place nice 😋😋🆒🆒👍👍
You guys missed out the peak tram to the Peak which would be quite an experience. Also should stay up there until all buildings light up at night, the night scene of Victoria Habour from the Peak is phenomenal.
I would be visiting Hong Kong in December this year. To those who have visited Hong Kong, may I ask what would be an ideal souvenir (from Hong Kong) for friends and family members? Thank you very much.
Swanky hotel!!! Looove Conrad but my preference is to stay at the Tsim Sha Tsui side to enjoy the stunning Hongkong island view. I will make sure to take that Victoria Peak trail. Thanks for the tip! Your vlog is STUNNING!
The Peak isn't the tallest mountain in Hong Kong, it is the tallest mountain in Hong Kong Island, the tallest mountain in Hong Kong is in new territories.
Hi Ann and Jan, thank you for a very informative vlog.Could you please tell me which room at the Conrad youll reserved, my daughter and I are travelling in June to hong kong and I am thinking of staying on hongkong Island fir a few days and at Kowloon for the rest of our trip. Thank you
Damnn your guys hotel looks so nice!! Even a tv in the bathroom 😂 let me guess you guys didn’t use? We content creators don’t have time to watch tv lol… And the dessert omg, carina and I was saying it looks so gooood !! Craving ice cream and sweets haha. Jan don’t bus, 😂 Hong Kong looks awesome even on gloomy day.
You talked about Galaxy hotel. I will visit Hong Kong in December this year. May I ask if the hotel`s name has been changed to Season`s Hotel - Causeway Bay? Could you please let me know if that is where you stayed at? Thank you very much.
In Singapore? We took the mrt almost everyday in Singapore and in hongkong, the only time we took a taxi was our first day, rest of the days were all public transportation 😊
I'm a bit surprised by your comment about the lack of MTR stations. Was your hotel not close enough to at least one of the 167 stations on the island or mainland? I'm curious!
Hi! Apologies for the confusion! What we meant was that while there are many MRT stations around Hong Kong, we personally found taking the bus to be the easiest and fastest way to get around because bus stops are located conveniently at almost every corner, allowing us to reach our destinations more quickly :)
Hold on, this is new to me. Bec from what I know, Octopus cards cannot be used in taxis as payment unlike in any other countries. Unless there's a new policy and gave cabs access to Octopus usage. Same with the passport stamping at HK airport which you previously mentioned in your vlog. Just curious.
@@JanandAnn oooh that's new though 😮 aah alam ko na, not the old taxis though which does not have a reader. Poor me, luma ung nasasakyan ko kaya hindi ako makagamit ng octopus noon 😂

There is actually The Peak Tram station just 10min walk away from your hotel and will take you up to Victoria Peak in 10-15mins 😊
Yea we were gonna take that route but from what we read online it gets really really busy so with opted to take the bus ☺️
@@JanandAnn The tram is so special and iconic though. The lines move fast. Great excuse to go back to HK! 🎉😊

Ders is actually the most easy way to go victoria peak just take the tram.ita not expensive.
Yea we were gonna take the tram but the wait line was 2 hours so we took the bus instead 😅
It’s because Tsing Yi not in central of Hong Kong , HK is full of bus stops and train and mtr stations
We meant compared to bus stops because u can find a bus stop almost every block :)
