I’m vacationing in HK and will be going home to the US soon. I’ve visited all the major shopping centers and actively looked for things to shop for, but it seems like the prices are more expensive than back home The malls here are unreal, though, almost like little worlds with their own unique charismas separate from the other one. I’m going back to the K11 Musea this afternoon, since it’s my favorite, and will be taking another look at the stores

Hi, I live in Vancouver and will be visiting my parents in Hong Kong next Tuesday. Haven’t seen them since pandemic. So happy to see you guys visiting Hong Kong.
My wife and I are from Hong Kong and a friend of ours just returned from a trip to Hong Kong. We all agree, there is not much we need to buy in Hong Kong that we can't get here in Toronto for similar price....if not cheaper. The place you stayed at is definitely on the more expensive side, but decent for the space and view you get. For camera stuff, yes, there are cheaper places, but consider Broadway will NOT sell you fake stuff nor bait-and-switch, they are the place to go to if you want to buy with confident. Sogo is not a mall, it is a department store like the Hudson Bay. It is a Japan-based department stroe. Harbour City is not only the largest, but also the most expensive Mall in Hong Kong.
@@9OClockRant Have you been to IFC Mall? It has three floors of high end stores. Harbour City is barely one floor. The second floor is not so luxurious
@@9OClockRant BTW, Tatler Asia Magazine ranks IFC Mall, Landmark and Pacific Place Mall as the three top Luxury malls in HK. I knew that already just being and working in Central
@@robocop581 Ummmm.....we are dealing with different thing. Just because a mall is "more expensive" doesn't mean the rest of them a cheap or even "not as good" because that is not how it works.
I really enjoyed watching this vlog because it reminded me of myself shopping for shoes here in the Phils. For a period of 1 month only, I happened to buy 2 pairs of rubber shoes even if I did not plan it because they were on sale. Anyway, the Nike Airmax I first bought costs me only P2,400 (40% off) and the recent one was Air Jordan Retro was worth P3,000 (50% off). These are really cheap and authentic. TBH, up to now, I have not worn them yet. But no regrets, I really like these shoes, although I have to admit that I still have lots of shoes in my rack and I rarely use them. Lesson learned, if you go the mall, do not enter the shoe stores if you have no intentions to buy one. Otherwise, you will be hypnotized to buy a pair or two.
As always you had a great vlog you always amaze me. The editing is so nice and good that i look for a vlogger.Ang ganda ng vlog . Keep up your good work Jan❤
