I was lucky to find one of these, at least 2 feet tall wrapped around a wooden frame, at a grocery store for $3! They were killing the plants by overwatering them, and it wasn't very healthy but I can see a difference in it now that I've been caring for it. I searched for a propagation video for this particular plant because I want to gift some, and I am SO glad I came across yours first!! You're such a great teacher!! Thank you! 💚
Same for me, I got a little one at the grocery store 1 year ago that had a lot of rotting leaves, but now the vines have grown at least 3 feet! I repotted and its so healthy now, new leaves growing really fast too 😀
It's like my first day in a brand new school. Just learned and acquired some succulents. Now I want to challenge myself to houseplants... like this type of monstera! Thank you for such a straight-forward video, extremely well-edited and balanced work your music and voice over. I hope to get my hands on a adansonii cutting soon so I can grow it from "scratch."
This is the best teaching video I’ve ever seen (and I’ve watched a lot!). I wish I had found you when I was first starting my plant journey! Thank you so much!
please start making videos again! I just found you today and you have answered so many questions on your videos for me! I would love to see new videos come out.
Your teaching capacity is amazing! You broke it down so well, including the anatomy of the plant itself. Thank you so much - this video helped me see how long my monstera cuttings' roots should be for me to repot them, too, which was just what I needed, but I learned a lot as well! Will subscribe :)
thank you- i had starting to propagate mine, but it was a longer portion with multiple nodess on one. hoping that after i seperate the nodes it'll start to root. i've had it for a month now and it hasn't rooted, so hoping this will work. didn't even think of this, so thank you!
I just got a couple of cuttings with a few leaves and mostly just runners from a family member’s backyard. So excited to propagate!!! Thanks for the helpful tips. I have some rooting hormone and I didn’t think to add it to the soil when potting either so I’ll try that on some of my other cuttings too!!
I just found you channel and omg I’m glad I did! I’m a new plant mama (due to my previous history of my black thumb 😢) I love al your content and your videos are amazing quality! Please keep them coming! GOD knows my plant will thank you for it lol
I like the way you did this video, very clear and straight to the point. How can i make my monstera leave this bright, shiny , green. Mine is not shiny and not healthy looking like yours.
Just caught the plant fever and found your video, and you’re by far the best one I’ve seen. Lovely format and editing, useful tips and info, and your voice is so calming and inspiring. Brb gonna binge watch all your videos now 🥰
You said to use any drinking water available to me, I do not like my tap, too hard. Is there a better water, distilled or Spring? I have been using distilled....just curious. Just bought my first adasonii and I am so excited.
Wish I would of watched this4 hours ago! A neighbor gave me cuttings of this same plant. I was able to propagate wonderfully! I’m Santa sure of the soil mix but I used the Lowe’s potting soil with pumice, a little orchid bark and a little worm casting. I hope that soul mix will be ok... and i didn’t sprinkle any rooting hormone. And now I’m worried. ☹️
The more cuttings I add to one pot , the fuller the plant right? I have one of these that I have growing on a totem but only 4 cuttings growing out of the pot. Ive been just wrapping around the totem as it grows but its too many stems to tie down to the totem now. How many cutting should I plant for a nice FULL looking plant so I dont have to keep wrapping?
Hello! Would you mind answering one question, please? What is that white small box (as a medicine) on the table that you used in preparing the flower? I would really appreciate your answer! Thanks
Great video! I have a question. My monstera vine has a few leafless nodes, where the leaf died or just never grew. Do you think if I put one of those in water, it might root anyway and grow a new leaf?
My monetera got developed root's within a day because I placed it in kitchen where it gets good light guys if you want your monstera to develop root faster then place them in kitchen
I just propagated some in some old glass bottles. Now I’m concerned that I won’t get them out anymore because the neck is so narrow 😬 how do you do it?

Loved this video! Thank you so much
Where do you place the bottles (with the plant)? In front of a south facing window or shade?
Hi great video can you do this if you don't have Leaves on the plant?
I like the way you did this video, very clear and straight to the point. How can i make my monstera leave this bright, shiny , green. Mine is not shiny and not healthy looking like yours.

Hello, beautiful video! I have a question: is there a specific time of the year to propagate monstera adansonii or any period is ok?
This was incredibly informative and helpful. Thank you!!
Omg I just loved it! I'm really excited to try this out! 🥺
Love it. Thank you.
Thanks for ur videos
Wow this video was in the reccomendations and i love it! Now i gotta see more! I love the narration as well😁😁😁
You said to use any drinking water available to me, I do not like my tap, too hard. Is there a better water, distilled or Spring? I have been using distilled....just curious. Just bought my first adasonii and I am so excited.
Thanks for this. Great video! I have a vine of this that is growing so fast and now I'm going to do this to half of it.
Can I do this in winter or should I wait for spring and summer
Wish I would of watched this4 hours ago! A neighbor gave me cuttings of this same plant. I was able to propagate wonderfully! Hello! What are you using to spread the roofing hormone in the soil?
This video was very well done. You have a new subscriber here. Cheers !
Thank you! Hope it helped! Yay thanks!!

Monstera adansoni😍😍😍
I'm still looking forward for shoutout!
Hope soon😍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
thank you, bryan!
U are so sweet. Loved the video. So detailed. Thank you.
Question: Re Rooting Hormone Powder, you said good for woody stems, will rose cuttings be one of them?
Great video! I have a question. My monstera vine has a few leafless nodes, where the leaf died or just never grew. Do you think if I put one of those in water, it might root anyway and grow a new leaf?
Just new here. Thanks for the information, so clear😆
Hi! Thanks for the video :) What is the white stuff you paint brushed over the roots?
this was very helpful! thanks so much!
I hope you'd do more vids 💛
Hi! Do you think I should use a rooting hormone once I transfer them to soil? Or can I just transfer them straight up?
My monetera got developed root's within a day because I placed it in kitchen where it gets good light guys if you want your monstera to develop root faster then place them in kitchen
Do I need to wait for the cutting to callous before water propping?
Do I have to reapply the rooting hormone each time I change the water? Thank you
imma try this Thankyouu
I would love a cutting, jelly... hopefully NY get some soon :) your video is very well explain. Thanks!
How long do we have to keep in shade
....after potting it....
Loved it❤
Hi thanks for your explanation, my monster plant is not developing holes on leaves, can you explain why
When you put them in the water, where do you keep it? I'd like to know the light condition. artificial or sunlight? how's the intensity?
I just propagated some in some old glass bottles. Now I’m concerned that I won’t get them out anymore because the neck is so narrow 😬 how do you do it?
