Hi Sean, wanted say thank you that it’s ok even though sometimes things has not live up to our expectations. As I have killed many plants along the way I still never give up on trying. I’d like to get some advice from you as I’m kinda torn in between decisions. I’ve just got a monstera about a week ago and it’s living in good medium mix but way too large pot. I suspect there’s a root rot as the garden center overwater them. Should I repot them into a terracotta pot or should I wait for a few more months to let them acclimatise to my home? I’m so afraid to make the mistake again as this is my forth monstera. (I’ve killed three). Would love to hear from you. Thanks
So, i have an year old plant that i got for my birthday last year. The plant was weak, i would say. Not one of the new cuttings came back variegated, all the leafs were white. Could you help me understand what happened?

Hi i have a question. I own a variegated adansonii just like yours, however the white part is turning lime green, nyonyadestira says that it maybe because i’m giving it too much light so the variegation adapts to create more chlorophyll. My monsteras new leaf got accidentally cut off when an item fell on it. Will my monstera eventually grow another leaf from the mom leaf or will it sprout a new bud and restart the plant?
If the periole of that broken leaf is not harmed it will push out new growth from the back of the petiole. If its severed, you can expect another vine or two to appear in the lower node
