I use the iPad 6th gen with the apple pencil as an ABA therapist with autistic children. I hand write my notes because I can’t be behind a keyboard and screen while working. The camera is used to scan documents for parents and use to assess and photograph there home life. I Also have autism specific games I use to help my patients. No other keyboard is slim enough so the Apple keyboard is perfect for writing reports after a session. The iPad really fits my workflow and it’s definitely time to upgrade. Using the iPad with my patients as the kids are very tech savvy really helps in the therapeutic process and allows us to work in ways we couldn't otherwise. The ability to handwrite notes, create plans and have my patients use it to help them communicate and understand the world around them, with AR and learning and engagement apps is crucial in my work flow and and the way I engage with and teach them. It’s interesting to see the direction they’re taking with this, and I wonder how far it’ll go? I’ll probably be sticking to a MacBook for a long time, but I can see how this is usable.
Currently I work in a group home as a direct care worker and the central purpose of our presence in the lives of others is to nurture, teach, and sustain the experiences of connectedness, companionship, and community. I am also a student at college and am studying in surgical technology paying for my schooling alone. I am also getting a job at a hospital as a assistant nurse and I really think this will help me excel in my studies and career.
I'm surprised the mouse/trackpad support is so polished and the animations look really well done. Apple really puts attention to detail even if it's such a niche feature.
I like how all of the iPads that support iPadOS have mouse support. Even the the small iPad mini supports mouse which I find hilarious. Theoretically, you can use an iPad mini as a laptop replacement if you want to. It wouldn’t be the best laptop replacement, but the fact you can is amazing.

I am a current college student attending his 2nd semester and also is the first member in his family who is actually in college and I would use the iPad Pro as a note-taking device instead of having to carry binders full of worksheets and homework of courses I am currently taking this year. Plus, things have been rough in my family since the day my dad was diagnosed with Colon cancers making it hard for us to have the money for things we really want and need.

This new mouse and trackpad support is awesome! I am shocked that they did not wait for iOS 14. Massive improvement over the mouse support that was in Accessibility Settings for the iOS 13 launch.

Discuss their value and pros and cons like less e waste, less money Spent vs the magic keyboard being an all in one backlit trackpad solution but for a lot more money.
