    fun fact, antlers aren't actually horns, antlers are made of bone that grow and fall off once a year, horns however are made out of the same stuff as hair and nails and grow slowly over a lifetime. great diy!!

    I wish this video had been out two years ago when I spent months making a pair of paper mache deer antlers for Halloween and then last minute realised they were too heavy to wear XD

    just a question.
    I my hair is shaved on the sides of my head and if I want it to look as natural as possible, could I cut the Alice-band around the horns and then glue a hair come underneath?

    • @ducksenpai18
      @ducksenpai18 8 років тому

      i think if your antlers are light enough, you could directly stick them onto small hair combs, but your idea of cutting the Alice band could offer more support, just give it a try and see how that works out!

    These are incredible! I'm always so intrigued and want to try, but I know it'll look like a 3 year old's art project when I do it. 😂 one day maybe.

    where an you get paper clay?

  • @UpperMoon4

    Can you make bigger ones with this method?

    • @ElysaRomana
      @ElysaRomana 8 років тому

      Yes, but it will obviously take longer to dry and need stronger attatchment to the head band.

    • @Estarlina
      @Estarlina 8 років тому

      And maybe much bigger they would not be as comfortable. You eventually could try to stick a thick wood stick inside, that you can remove later, so they would be "empty" in the inside and it would weight less :) Hove you enjoy making them :D ;)

    • @coralaisly
      @coralaisly 8 років тому

      They may need internal support as well if they're much bigger.

  • @SamOrtegaB

    In Spanish, when your partner cheats on you, we say "me puso el cuerno" something that roughly means "he/she put antlers on my head" so, it won't be a very good idea using a pair of those if you travel to a Spanish speaking land with your partener xD
    they're super cute and realistic, though

  • @natalialucia8228
    @natalialucia8228 8 років тому

    In my country we sayd "he/she puts antelrs on you" when someone had cheated on you, so, even if I wanted to make this to a costume party I would have to deal with the jokes :(

    Not gonna lie, I was getting a bit more antsy everytime the words "antlers" and "horns" were used interchangeably. They aren't the same thing. XD
