I will definitely be using this antler tutorial as a base for mine. You did an amazing job.
So glad you found it helpful! I'd love to see what you make :)
This would make an amazing wall art piece on wood. I'm going to have to try this! It's stunning!
What a great idea! I'd love to see what you make!
This REALLY helped me out cause I had the kind of headbands you had and I was freaking out cause I didn't think they would work and I couldn't find my really thick headband I already had and you solved my headband problem!!!!
Genius using the foil!! What a great idea. :)
I do recommend a snow spray my mom uses it on her Xmas trees
This Tutorial is perfect! I saw a lot but this one is short, easy and really cute :3 Thank you a lot, good job! :D
+Cannibal Kitten Thanks, love! I'm glad you found it helpful :)
Beautiful.
you are seriously so talented
You are so sweet :)
THIS IS AWESOME!
I made these but I found there were a little heavy and would fall forward. Any suggestions to keep it up?
I really like this tutorial! How long did you leave the antlers in the oven and at what temp?
I can't remember off the top of my head- but the instructions for temperature and time should be on the sculpey package :)
Wow, these are amazing!
for the fabric headband, do you think it would be okay to have the fabric be shiny? It kinda feels like a tie
does it has to be the 8oz because the 2oz I cheaper but idk if there is enough for the antlers
*Deer* Alethea, I really enjoyed watching this, *antler-nt* something new too! Sorry for all the bad puns, but I hope you enjoyed my *glowing* review ;) But in all seriousness, your videos are really good quality and I look forward to seeing more of yours videos! Thank you for sharing! ^__^
+Graphic Design Guy lollll thanks, Jame! I appreciate the time and effort you put into thinking them up hahaha thanks for the kind words- I'm looking forward to watching more of yours as well! :D
Alethea Spencer Aww it's always nice to be called my actual name here since it's rare :) It really was my pleasure I assure you.putting some time and thought into my comment on your video since you put the time and effort into making this great video for us viewers :) And hopefully I'll have something new for people to watch soon :)
hey Graphic Design Guy, nice to see you comment outside of buzzfeed videos too :)
Hi! Thank you for posting this video! I did a great job with making the
antlers but my antlers won't stick to the headband :-( what should I do
to save this project? Thank you in advance...someone heeeelp! Also can you show or tell us how to use the paints with this project
These are really cool
Your really good at this
can you also make it with paper cache??? Just so the headband is not so heave and won't fall down when you wear it???
You can totally do that as well!
Awesome! Im doing this for Halloween
This is dooopppeeee
Wait how did u make it glow???? Please help......
is it okay to use sticks as the base of the antlers and put the clay over it?
+Skylar Maack for an oven-bake clay like sculpey, only use aluminum foil as the base. If you use an air dry clay you don't need a base, you can just sculpt away!

Hi Alexia! What kind of clay did you use? A friend of mine said she made holes near the base before baking the clay to thread ribbon or wire through to attach to the headband after. This could also help if the antlers are too heavy. Hope this helps!
Alethea Spencer
Thanks a bunch
sculpey clay...any painting design ideas?
How did you make them glow?
I used glow in the dark glitter! You could also use glow paint
Do you take commissions for these? I am naturally untalented so I was wondering if I could pay you to make me one
This is perfect! I'm going to a convention and I showed this video to my friend and we're going to make antlers and go as fawns now! I'm so thankful you made this :)
Just a couple questions, though. Where did you find the Sculpey clay that you used? And is it safe to spray paint over the Sculpey? I want to make galaxy antlers!
Thank you
Sorry for the late reply! I bought it from Michaels and pray paint should be okay :D Have fun!
best damn antlers on UA-cam my DEER😆 HA! No really though, awesome job tfs.
hahaha thanks, love!
where did you get the clay from?
Michael's! You can find it at any craft or art supply store I think Walmart even carries a version of it :)
will air dry clay work?
+Aubrey Dunham I haven't tried it, but I don't see why not! Just skip the aluminum foil part since that won't be necessary for air clay. Only big difference might be that the air clay will be a little heavier since the antlers will be solid clay without the foil.
+Alethea Spencer thanks! :D
yo you forgot to put the fake birbs in the desc
Make more plz of animals
How?
Instructions unclear I got my cat stuck on the moon.
Did she say ratchet? That’s not offensive at all 😕
Maya Walker . . .How is that offensive?
totally making this for a twist on my dia de los muertos project! thanks alot. im adding battery powered lights in mine. :) great tutorial! and super cheap! i love it. May even add a coat of glitter paint on the antlers just for pizzazz ;p
