You made these just in time! I had decided to be a faun for Halloween and I was wondering what to do for horns then I see you made a DIY on them! Thank you so much! ^-^
This is so cool. I've been wanting to buy some polymorph and try my hand at making my own cosplay props. I needed some more info on it before I bought some and this video was so helpful. I'm definatley going to make some of these.
I think this might work for a Karkat cosplay i want to do, my first method with just foil and string and hot glue was really hard to do for his small horns :D
oooo you could also put holes in them near the base and put them on a string that you can tie around your head. I have a pair of clay horns that are on a string and they're so comfy I forget I have them on.
i use that plastic morph for my costume veneers but the ones the company sends are super tiny bags and sometimes dont cover the top and bottom teeth so now i know where to get giant bags of it (not to mention you have to change the plastic frequently or else they mold)
they do not . they become pretty solid plastic .u cant really remelt them after they harden.its like the plastic beads become harder after umold them into something and they become compacted together.
I found out a very cheap polymer source. Diapers (not the used ones) just peel of the diaper and voila!! There you can have polymer!!! Hope it helps :) (sorry for the wrong grammar)
Hey, Klaire! I was thinking about shaving my head just like you did, but I'm kinda worried about growing my hair back. I'm afraid of that awkward period when they aren't as short as initially, but aren't long enough to pass for a 'pixie cut' too. Do they look all spikey and your head looks like a hedgehog? I would like to have an opinion of a person who actually lived through that, and you are the only girl that comes to my mind :) I wouldn't mind some answers from other commenters too :P Thanks!
I've tried making similar props (namely deer antlers) with clay and the likes which ended up being quite heavy! I'm guessing these polymorph horns were much lighter?
Absolutely love this! Your work is phenomenal in a way that cannot really be put into proper words
