I love how this looks with just a simple face. It somehow makes the horns look even more realistic, even more real because you just look like a normal everyday person... but with horns! It's not part of a dramatic or scary makeup look, they're just there.

Just a friendly in case you didn't know. I'm not sure if the packing peanuts you have in the UK are the same as the ones we have in the US. We have two commonly used types.The ones that kind of look like a Cheeto puff are actually made from potato starch and they're made to be biodegradable so when they get wet they shrink and will eventually completely dissolve. Standard packing peanuts (the more s shaped ones) aren't as moldable and tend to break/crumble under pressure. I worked for UPS for a while so I've dealt with a lot of packing peanuts, and that's how i found out about the desolvable ones. Excellent tutorial btw. I may have to use thus for a quick costume this year. I'm getting dragged to a haunted house by my sister and she's insisting I dress up.

@@aliyahm7656 I couldn't find "scar wax" anywhere at all. Eventually made it out of vaseline and baking flower stuff. Then mixed it with some "mousse" stuff that was my skin color. Kind of worked out. Couldn't find packaging peanuts anywhere. Went to 18 stores before they had some, but they were some ugly light green... but I made them almost all black. It sort of worked, the self made wax wasn't strong and wanted to come off a lot though. Everyone was impressed, so yay :).

I tried many ways to colour them and what worked out best was promakers for the base and like three layers of eyeshadows and hairspray. With glues best was a glue from a plastic model, but i glued a peace of blue tape to the horn and then to the forehed. i used quite a lot of glue and it held REALLY well (i covered them with hair). anyway grat idea i loved it.
So glad I found this as I can make my darth maul cosplay out of these 😆

If your wearing a wig that will cover your forehead are you able to move the wig hair so I got around the horns if you do that will there be too much weight on the horns enough for it to fall off?
