Nice job brother looking in the description for the links for the hardware or description not seeing it is that possible looks like it just did the video about 6 months ago I'm sure it's still in your history wherever you bought it from will be very interested in doing the same thing already put it inside release latch on the inside so my children can get out from the inside thank you brother for your time keep up the good work man
How straight is the top edge of the window? A piano hinge might offer benefits. A replacement window (not avoiding future breakage) is cheap in salvage yard. I paid under $200 for rear and two quarters to replace OEM clear with factory tinted. A good glass company can cut holes in the glass for hings/latch mounts. Thinking to do this with side quarter windows for side access like pick'emup toppers.
Great idea. I'm putting plexiglass on the back of a Honda CR-V and the back door doesn't open anymore because of a car accident. This might be a good idea. It’s still a reliable vehicle but not worth investing in a new door and window.
😳 is no a good idea!!!! is a awesome idea, next time i go wheeling i been looking for a tree to break my rear window so i can do what you did lol! Good job kid!
Hey Z, I think these should have been done b4 too like my Blazer's. I've seen vids about the side glass opening but not this back glass. Pretty sure Chevy uses a metal frame surrounding the glass. The 1 in my driveway uses steel, S10 Blazer. I wonder if that wouldn't stiffen yours enough to collapse that seal? Anyhow, I tried you on Instagram today. First name Jeff on my acct FYI. Hope to hear back from you.

I like this idea . Maybe make a metal frame to go around the outside for more rigidity .
