This came out a lot better than I expected honestly! Looks much better than it did before. I might have put some body filler on that hood to even out the pitting, and done some trim restoration work but other than that, visually it's completely unrecognizable from what it was before. Great stuff!

its just amazing what you're able to do on a budget. I can only imagine what your builds are gonna look like if your budget was bigger. But ofc, stick to the budget builds cuz that is what this channel is for. The car community/youtube need more people like you to demonstrate that anybody can have a cool car on a budget and build them for fun!
I totally agree that this channel has set a good example in demonstrating that anyone can make what they got look good on s budget. Having grown up in Puerto Ricos strong car culture I would see this type of examples budget builds all the time. So it's great to see channels like this setting the example of what can be done to those that did not grow up around a good car culture.

I’d like to see this up close after 1 New Jersey winter….probably trashed with the super weak coating and lack of legit priming. The salt is gonna eat that thing
Obviously a huge transformation here. Outstanding work. However I’m screaming at my phone hoping you sand and re-clear the taillights and corner lights to make the red and orange lenses pop with the fresh paint, especially that high-mount brake light. Trim restore on the door handles would have been icing on the cake.

A love all the special micro blisters and textured marks in the new paint when you look real close. Well worth the effort.
I can't finish watching. It looks horrible even on my cellphone screen. Anyone commenting how great this paint job looks must be watching on a dial up fax machine. Maaco would have been a better route to take.

You should've taken a wire brush against those drums and hubs. Then paint it black.

Wow it's easy to tell you paint skills are improving. You're getting way better results now with the paint kit vs rattlecans. Super nice color too!
I will go back and forth between rattle and better kits, some cars just don't need anything special lol
Considering you did this in a driveway with no booth or enclosure of any kind, looks pretty decent. Definitely an improvement. 👍🏼
I remember I used to have that Jeep Cherokee, mine was a two-wheel drive into door and you hardly ever see those anymore. I was probably the only guy in town that had one but two doors in two-wheel drive. Unfortunately there are some electrical issues that involve the throttle position sensor and everytime I replaced it, it was never enough and it kept on giving me problems on the road, so I had no choice but to sell it and now I have a pickup truck. Glad the new owners that bought it from me actually did things to it I always wanted to do but could never do. I'm glad they sent me pictures as well as them taking it off road saying thank you.

I always enjoyed the fact that with certain colors and good weather, you can spray outside and take care of it after it’s dried if there’s any imperfections

Brother didn't even take five minutes to pop the trim off and paint them separately lmao. It doesn't cost anything to take your time and do the job right.
It's a jeep, not a show vehicle. That was plenty and it looks great. Did the same to my old 99 several years ago.
That jeep came out so clean, paintjob looks nice for an outdoor paintjob, wheels are sick, great work man keep it up.
You do the best cheap and fast paint job. Dirty but sweet.

My man, you did a good job for how you did it. Painting in the garage would've been much safer though. Not as much worrying about something landing in the paint.. also, while you had all the lights and grill off, should've replaced them or cleaned them up or something. Would've made the end product a lot more satisfying. Again, you did good and I only mean this to be constructive. This is the first time I've seen one of your videos.

Dude works SUPER fast, I can't believe he could do all this work in ten minutes. Oh and I love the over spray on the house a true sign of a car DIYer. I think they sell a clear coat in a can too that would help with the paint protection

This was an exemplary transformation! - However, I can't help but wonder that during the reassembly - it appears as though the headlights were just kinda left hangin' there? Even still - GREAT job on this! 👊

As soon as I saw the hood, I knew it was gonna be with worst part of the job. I sanded my chips to metal as well and didn't fill it with filler, so I got those divets too
Saw one of these at my gas station I work at and fell in love instantly. I want one so bad now
so budget-friendly that the whole hood is in waves, judging by the reflection, I dare to assume that no varnish was applied to the paint either.
I am a single 57 year old woman. I have a 2004 jeep cherokee, I would love to do something like this to my jeep. Its beautiful, what you have done.
Let's also bring up the focus with over fenders and wheels... guy has a particular taste and it Def looks good 💯

That Green is the perfect paint for the old Cherokee. It kinda reminds me of the Ford color Highland Green that was on the Bullitt Mustang.

I had XJ Renix, then XJ restyle 98 Mopar, now I have KJ 3,7. XJ 1998 restyle - was the best one, I loved it.
These jeeps will be sought after like the old broncos and we are all going to cry when we see how much they are asking for them!

Reminds me of my 1 owner 99 xj i got from an old man that sat on his driveway for most of the time. Did 4.5 inch lift with 33s cut the fenders up abit and i fell inlove..

The jeep is natural habitat is to be in the dirt and mud and rocks crawling in the wild bro getting scratches and dents having fun. So to me, waste of time and money, I would invested it in some 1tons some lockers, a cage, a winch, some bumpers, some 40 inch stickies, red label, BF Goodrich tires making a Trail worthy. But it does look good.🤙🏼

My manual 03 escape could use a makeover like this honestly and for that cheap of a price and the current price of cars I could definitely pull it off. It's been a while since I've done any body work like this since I was a teenager but I think I could knock this out over a weekend hopefully.

Throw another 1k into it to refresh all the plastics and do the proper timed maintenance and you’ve got yourself a reliable piece that’ll go for another 100k miles
