I will really miss the Class 319 on London Northwestern Railway as they are due to be replaced by the Clas 730/2 Aventras. Hopefully Northern should have them or are they going for scrap.
Would be a shame I suppose, but I remember when they were factory-fresh to Thameslink in 1987 running from Brighton to Bedford. Before that the Brighton main line was the preserve of slam door 423 4-VEPs, 421 4-CIGs and the like. Compared to them the 319 was like a rocket ship!
The Class 319 and Class 455 are the greatest looking and sounding trains of all time 😍😍😍🐐🚉🚃💯🗣️.

The 319s last day is apparently on the 23rd of october, but it depends on when the 730s come into service
