Wow ! This is the most fun episode Ive ever watched, from ANY detective show. I want to see the whole thing. Surprised me that the old guy was keeping up with all the fancy particle talk !
I don't know why "borrow a cup of protons" is so funny to me. A great response would be "Only if he wanted about 8", meaning it was full of oxygen and therefore empty. (And yes, I know air is made up of more than just oxygen but it works for a silly joke.)
"I didn't know the police investigated particle interactions." For some reason, that comment just amuses me, she obviously wants to know what's going on.
Spoilers The husband/nuclear physicist stole the ideas/work of a grad student (now working at the particle accelerator lab). The grad student was pissed and wanted credit but was refused. He sent a mail bomb hoping to injure or harm the husband but didn’t know that the couple had separated and wasn’t living there anymore. He eventually admits guilt in exchange for credit for his work (the husband had to admit he stole the grad student’s work in order to prove motive)
Well now I know that if I even have a letter opener, I don't use it on packages lmao, that's a lesson she never got the chance to learn. It wouldn't be fun having a birthday confetti bomb throw a knife in my neck.
People don't use regular mail to deliver packages anymore??? Even during this old out of date show Amazon was shipping and it's volume was increasing. Writers need to do more research before writing scripts.

The same
Is this episode about an actual frame job using a bomb exposed to a particle accelerator? Holy hell, this is some futuristic criminal mastermind.
I can’t remember now who did it, but it wasn’t supposed to kill her. She got very unlucky that she used that letter opener
That convo with the mail carrier is spot on! I’ve had that conversation every day for a decade!
L&O finally back to delivering 90s clips, I am grateful they have come back to this after nearly 2 years
"Borrow a cup of protons" - one of the best L&O lines.
Finally, some scenes with Logan. It's been a while since we got clips of him and Briscoe together
90s clips in general I can’t believe it, season 4 and 8 in two days, crazy
Yup. Though Ceretta and Logan are my favorite.
I can't never get the early episodes on these streaming services and that really pisses me off. I'm cancelling peacock!😡

By far the most scientific episode of L&O, and I’m all for it ✨
this feels like the closest you'd ever get to a L&O/Star Trek crossover lol
I remember having regular bomb-safety trainings when the Harvard U-bomber was still on the loose.
