Love it! One of my favorite things about Max Roach was how he used toms in a very musical way to create melodic content on the drums. One of my all time faves. Great work!

@@galibolaz I've transcribed this solo as well now and it's actually a full measure that's missing. It sounds spliced and like the 6th measure of the last chorus is missing!

if you work hard you can do a great job on Max and Elvin’s style and transcriptions, just like many pianist play Bach and Mozart. It does take talent, but mostly work will get you there. But you will notice that most drummers do not play the transcription with the ferocity of Elvin.
