The intro is basically me after every exam when my friends are discussing their answers.
The only thing I've ever been 100% right about is that I'll be wrong at least once a day every day for the rest of my life.
I was wrong. I thought if I bought a bunch of charcoal grey shirts I’d get Matt’s biceps. Meh still worth it 🤷🏻♂️
"Self-D'Avellapment"
Who thinks Matt is an awesome storyteller?
"I tried being wrong for 30 days"
Someone commented on another video saying "you should write a book or have a brand or something and call it 'Matt's Self D'Avellopement'"
I had a boss once who could never admit she was wrong. I went to her one day saying our entire group productivity was down because one man (her specific hire) was turning up late, going home early, taking 2 hour lunches and leaving work for others. She said we work outside her closed office and she can see us all and can't see a problem. I tried to show her the stats and she just kept saying she could see us. Frustrated, I said she couldn't possibly because there was a huge pillar blocking her view, to which she said, " I can see through walls". Not as a joke either. No action was taken. She'd hired the wrong person but couldn't admit it. I left a month later.
“Matt’s biceps aren’t even that big”, now that my friends is an example of being wrong.
Best youtube channel ever; Matt you have inspired me to wake up daily at 4:30 am,take the coldest showers ever and run 2 miles a day. I have done it for 3 months, so thank you so much!
Bob Ross: "'We don't make mistakes, we have happy accidents"
“The smartest man in the world is the one who can admit he doesn’t know it all”
Mistakes are always learning opportunities. But I can't lie, it hurts everytime.
"some people are happy with their jobs after college... I've met both of them!"
Matt's such a minimalist, he doesn't even add Ads in his videos
This is the mamba mentality: fall in love with the process, more than the results. Kobe forever #24
did anyone else spit out their tea at 'and I've met both of them'
Can Netflix give this guy a series?! His videos are brilliant and so well thought out, and he always does a ton of research. They are actually informative and motivational too like what. Most channels like this could never. I always recommend this channel to people who are feeling stuck during quarentine.
"In fact, I've actually met both of them"
"When you're wrong, don't let it be such a bad thing." When we shame ourselves for falling short, we get nothing positive accomplished. It's more productive to be kind to yourself!
