Great videos knifewatch! Hell of an eye for aesthetic, the old guard and Freek are so dang sleek. Just bumped them to the top of my list. Do a video of your collection if you have the time, seems like you have quite a few gems.
In my humble opinion, nobody seems to be able to make a very plain and simple design look so elegant as Ray Laconico. There are others who do simple well, but Ray can take simple to a whole new level. I absolutely love his designs. I just wish he did more knives in this size. The majority of his knives are 3" blades. Not that I won't carry a smaller knife, but 3.5" is my preference by far. I just bought the raindrop cf version of this knife. Can't wait to get it in hand.
Its realy a nice knife. The lihgt textured finish on the carbon is realy nice. I had not that much luck whith the qc but the knife itself is realy nice.... I also think the simplicity of the design is what its make so good... Byside have the two standoffs the same lengh ? By mine one is shorter than the other and the tolleranzes between pivot and blade are realy not the greatest. I just can feel it when the blade is engached. Pleace Let me know and greatings from austria Stay healthy .....
I fell in love with this knife the second I saw it. The reviews only strengthened my desire. BUT........when can these designers find a source other than China? I’m a little amazed at how supposedly red blooded Americans can ignore what China’s real motives are. This isn’t the only Chinese made knife I desire as they’re doing great work,,,,not at super low prices but reasonable and most often less than the top high end American made knives. I feel bad for the industrious, hard working Chinese people but I’m going to boycott as many Chinese products as possible to do my little part. I’d rather do without. Join me.

This knife makes my shortlist for sure. Hard to find now though. I wish there were more American manufacturers of such high-quality pieces.
Why does it matter if it's by an American manufacturer?? This knife is made in China anyway.
@@kNiFeNuTt to support American economy and workers.
I hope they make a mini OG
Dropping in January.
Hinderer knives are over-rated. I have a few Monterey Bay Knives and they hit the value/high quality sweetspot. 👍👍

I couldn’t agree more Bob. Nothing screams “Monterey Bay” like a knife made in China. What a joke!
To bad it is made in China, off my list
