I really enjoyed this video. It’s nice to hear about the PEOPLE behind the voices, and their experiences. As opposed to just seeing the lives of the characters that you portray.
Do you think you’d be able to get other actors and actresses from the game and do this kind of content again?
Yup. It stinks when you have to curtail yourself & your freedom of speech to the point where you feel boxed in and unable to articulate yourself in the manner you please.
Britt’s right. You’re stuck in the crosshairs of between being professional & being genuine not to irk your fandom.
When Briit speaks, she has moments where she accidentally does Tifa's voice 🥺 And Briana... you don't know how happy I am that you are the voice of Aerith, because she is a very important character in the world of video games
Its possible that Shes just doing her voice moreso when acting as tifa .
Yeah true man, they all did amazing at there jobs! I don’t follow these ladies cause there’s no point for me too. Would’ve been dope to see the guys that played the male characters. Much love! ❤ but yeah, you can hear it abit through there normal voices
i really think that's just her natural voice unlike eria and briana's who are acting more so.
I love Tifa's voice so much. There's something about it that screams the childhood sweetheart vibe. Like it's slightly dry, but also very soft and gentle so it doesn't become raspy.
Also, she does sound a bit motherly.
Wow! It's so nice the voice of Tifa, Jesse, and Aerith in person. These ladies are not only talented but they are wonderful too.
When they get together they should summon something awesome like Capt Planet or something XD

Ok Britt Baron did a PHENOMENAL job as the new voice of Tifa Lockhart.
I honestly thought no one could have topped Rachel Leigh Cook's performance. But she came in and she saved the day. Nice.
All kudos and love to you, too, SRG, you rule as Aerith Gainsborough. Congratulations on getting the role and hopefully you'll still stick around as Aerith's voice for future installments.
She was perfect as Tifa, gave more depth and nuance to the character. In general I think the remake cast was a massive upgrade.
These are some of the best portrayed ladies in gaming. Their characterization is really well done. I love to see that there are some amazing women behind the characters! kudos~
Honestly was surprised she wasn't even nominated for Voice actor of the year, I guess the competition was fierce that year.
@@mako3197 I agree that the Remake cast are hardcore but Steve Burton and George Newbern will always be Cloud Strife and Sephiroth in my eyes.

I had no idea Britt Baron played Tifa! I was just watching GLOW earlier today!
I'm a big fan of Erica Lindbeck. She's so versatile. Futaba from Persona 5, Magilou from Tales of Berseria, and Shionne from Tales of Arise. Most of my favorite JRPG's this generation has her name on it. :-)
A lot of times when you know Britt does Tifa, it's hard not to separate her from the character when I was listening to her voice. And Briana, I love how you represent us fans by being a fan your self.
All of you did really great especially in adding more color to the well beloved characters. :-)
Whoa, she voiced Magilou?! Then again, her voice sounded so familiar when I played Berseria. Yeah, she did sound like Jessie and Shionne, although I didn't like Arise that much (sorry, I think there are better Tales games than Arise, in my opinion). I didn't know Erica Lindbeck had such a prolific career in voice acting, mainly in video games.😄
Of course, Britt and Briana are great, too. I can't wait for them to voice TIfa and Aerith for part 2 of FFVII Remake! I hope they put a lot of soul into their characters.😄

These women did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. It feels exactly like I imagined them when I was 9 years old playing it with just bubble text. It was really a joy to play this game and I enjoyed all of their dialogue. Can’t wait for part 2. 👻🥳

To be honest, I give more credit to voice actors than actors. Especially people who work in videogames. You have to sell a belivable character just with your voice! It's so demanding work, you really need the talent to do it succesfully...
And these lovely ladies are all doing some of the best voices in the industry! They are all so good in FF7R, hope to see/hear them again in future games. Love your work Brianna!
Also, as a side note: I find it so fascinating, how voice actresses sound not doing their character voices, but their own voice. I know, I know, but I can't help but compare their voices to their characters... Like, how Britt sounds really like Tifa, but talks with more confidence and faster, how you Brianna talk more casual, and Erica sounds totally different, but if you really focus on her voice, you can discover the familiarities to Jessie!
The way voice actors change their voices is really impressive to watch. I always enjoy watching videos of them recording or doing their impressions for fans and stuff outside of work XD I just think it takes a lot of talent to do that.
It's just so surreal to see a flesh and blood human suddenly speaking like that cartoon character you like! LOL
Really appreciate you actively bridging the gap between the fans and the people who helped bring their favorite characters to life. You've really built up a well-earned community for yourself, so props to all your continued efforts!

This was a seriously fun panel to watch. Bri, Erica and Britt have an awesome friendship and comradery. Seeing how much genuine love and passion they have for Voice Acting and their FF7 Remake characters was really cool. They truly deserve so much praise for their extraordinary performances as Aerith, Jesse and Tifa!

Thank you all so much for bringing these amazing characters to life. Im 18 years old and FF7 was a huge part of my childhood and playing the remake almost felt like reconnecting with old friends. You ladies are absolutely amazing and I hope you all know how inspirational you are to young fans like myself!

I absolutely loved this panel! As an emerging performer, I loved hearing the personal stories regarding bravery and perseverance about this industry. It’s so great hearing actors who I respect so much have had the exact same experiences that I’m currently going through. So reassuring!
Each one of you did a phenomenal job voicing these iconic characters. Honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way. FF7R quickly became one of my most favorite gaming experiences of all time thanks to you lovely ladies :D

I’ve played through this game 3 times and am on my 4th play through. You were all awesome in this. After playing through this and, especially, after your reaction and comments during your stream when Cloud was dressed up by Andrea, you will always be the voice of Aerith to me.

To the point of people having such a connection with voice acted characters, especially in games, I feel like it’s the average amount of time that players spend with those characters compared to movies/shows. Add in the fact that game protagonists are so easy to self-insert , and you as the player have such a high measure of controlled interaction with the characters. For a lot of people, it just hits different!
FF7 Remake is the 1st FF game I've ever played. This is the most beautiful game I've ever played and getting to know the real people behind the voice overs is very cool. My best friend, Will Ruzicka, who passed away this year was a storyboard artist and director of several productions and he loved the FF franchise. So, a little nostalgia. Thank you ladies for the work you do. You all are fantastic!

She is a character that I have always loved since playing the original game. As i big nerd AERITH is also what my license plates say :). To Britt and Erica, love you 2 as well!
Erica Lindbeck you are playing ICONIC roles, so the lines will get blurred, that's why I appreciate you doing interviews and conventions so people see the actual person behind the art. I love all of y'all's performances in FF7R! Erica talks about the separation between her characters and her actual self outside of the roles and one of the things that I enjoy that really helps with that are hearing her voice characters like Jessie in FF7R as well as a character like Magilou in Tales of Berseria. It's a lot of fun picking up on the details and differences of each performance.
All these wonderful ladies are so incredibly talented and just amazing! It's truly a blessing to witness their work, it has brought us so much joy and memories, even in a 21 year old game!
I grew up with Rachel Leigh Cook voicing Tifa, but Britt did a good job.
Nothing personally against the cast of AC but only Steve Blum was good. Most of the replacement was needed.

Not to underappreciate any of your performances, but please tell Britt that her voice is particularly soothing, deep, heartrending, but also strong. It's exactly what Tifa represents altogether. And she did portray all that perfectly. I fell in love with her Tifa voice. Please tell her.

What an AMAZING job you all girls did in this game!! FF7 was one of my favorite games on PS1 in the 90s, and you did an outstanding job with all the life, charisma, and personality you gave to these beloved characters in this FF7 - Remake. Special shout-outs to Erica and her work voice-acting Jessie, it's the first time I wished for a side character to end up with the main character.

Erica is by far my favourite voice actress. So many amazing roles! Kaori and Futaba are incredible characters, and Erica seems an incredible woman also. Great video 😌
She was also really good as Black Cat in Marvel’s Spider-Man, & I also enjoyed her as Yoko Sawa in Lost Judgment.

I just loved so much Britt's Tifa. Just that mere voice, going along Tifa's character so well made her my favorite character from the game. I just can´t get enough of Tifa I hope she gets untoched to the next part of FF7R because I need to see the Cloud's mind section with Britt's voice, that is quite an important part or maybe a throwback to Crisis Core as Tifa didn´t have a voice in PSP, maybe she will get dialogues at that time now with Britt's charm.
Erica is incredible, she has a great vocal range, her voice is naturally deep but as Jessie she gets a higher pitch anime girly-like, a completely different person, I like my latin american dub, but I will give a chance to english just to hear her voice as Daki.
