She has one of the most soothing and calming voices I've ever heard. They picked the perfect Tifa. If I randomly saw her on the streets, then I heard her start talking, I would've instantly cast her as Tifa as well. I don't think think it's possible to find a better actress. Casting on point!
Almost all the qualities she listed of Tifa's when expressing admiration for the character were the ones I was amazed she brought out through her voice. I keep marvelling at how amazing she did here, and am honestly surprised she wasn't nominated for the bafta.
As long as she does the trilogy of the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE! I’d be happy if she does just that; but if the VA does movies or more games with the TIFA character, I’ll be HAPPY! Soo everything you’ve done, she’s mine and other player’s waifu’s 😂❤❤ I’ll have to go back and checkout the other VA’s that played Tifa.
Britt baron you did a fantastic job bringing Tifa Lockhart to life in Final Fantasy 7 remake thank you for all your hard work and good luck in the future Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy
She’s my favorite VA in the game let alone the whole series. She brought Tifa to life in a way that is so interesting to watch. Plus hearing the different catchphrases while clapping enemies with combos made me feel like I could do anything.
She did, ayy! I’ll have to go back and checkout the other VA’s but this team did well though, apart from I did miss Advent Children/Crisis Core Sephiroth voice actor
Yes! It was so satisfying to hear Tifa yell "Goodbye!" while delivering the final blow to an enemy. Any time Tifa/Britt grunted a battle cry while performing her "Somersault" limit break, I wanted to applaud and shout, "Let's gooooooo" like a true bro LOL!!!!
oh I love that laugh of her's...I was always an Aerith fan but something about Tifa's character portrayal in the Remake made me adore her so much! Britt can portray Tifa as strong yet tender hearted at the same time. It's so amazing and unique! I am definitely a Tifa fan now!
I wish that I could find more interviews with Britt about this role. I would love to hear more of her thoughts on the game and character, now that this game has been out for a few years. Tifa is likely my favorite video game character of all time and I was THRILLED that her performance exceeded my expectations and was a perfect fit for the voice that I had always imagined for Tifa, in my head. I was a hard customer to please and Britt and the rest of the voice actors nailed their roles and definitely contributed to my love of this Remake. So grateful that even the actors who had not played the original game appreciated the emotional attachment that fans had for these characters and took those emotions to heart.
is it just me, but she actually looks like the character, at least the jaw lines. She really didn't change her voice for the character which is interesting. A lot of VAs like to change the voice they use for their character. Makes it very easy to picture her voice with the character.
It took me awhile to get used to Britt's voice for Tifa in the English version. However I love her voice now because it's a good contrast between Briana's voice for Aerith. One is lower while the other is higher pitched. Casting was great and look forward to the next remake!
Tifa is such a down to earth personality, even when you would chose "refined" when she asks you what you think her trait is, she sais: "yeah, we are older now". And she isn't super needy or a big nuisance, and is constantly weighing the moral behind what the avalanche team is doing. She has a perfect softening effect on barret and the group. And Britt conveys that so well. 1997 tifa already showed that balance between being easy going but having a firm resolve to not slide into her darker self. Then Cloud is there to level her. Together with Zoey (l4d), Elizabeth (bioshock infiinite), tifa is one of my most favorite characters.
Everyone did an awesome job with their roles. I was not disappointed with any VA, love her double Unbridled Strength line “No more games! It’s over!” So intimidating 😅
Britt really look like Tifa, as well as Brianna she looks like Aerith.. Both of them really like the real life FF7 characters.. I like both by my BAIS is Aerith she is GORGEOUS in all aspects.
Tifa does well to be a kind person and not take her anger out on others, amidst her own internal emotional struggles. She is battling physical and internal/emotional wars, yet remains focused on being supportive rather than letting herself completely buckle under the stress. Once more of the story is revealed, I am confident that you will better understand Tifa, her motives and her dialogue and appreciate her character even more. It is impossible to go into further detail, without spoiling anything.
Tifa is my favorite, but I still respect that you have your own opinion. In fact, I essentially love the entire cast of characters from the original, so it's not offensive or a big deal to see someone pick another character as their favorite. ...Well, so long as someone doesn't choose Cait Sith as their clear favorite, I will not take issue with their selection. : )
I think she just seems nervous, understandably so. She seems to admit that she isn't much of a gamer - she even watched her boyfriend play this game, rather than play it for herself. The whole premise of remaking the original game put a TON of pressure on these actors, as everyone clearly had high expectations to meet. She was likely nervous about the interview because she did not yet know how fans would receive the game and her performance as Tifa. Also, on screen acting is more her comfort zone, not voice acting or interviews.

I’d wish she made at least one tifa impersonation
@@absfinal Just hearing her talk sounds like it's Tifa.
Couldn't have had a better voice for Tifa. She is absolutely perfect and totally brings out Tifa's character.
Faxxxxxxxx😢❤
That’s what I love about Tifa is that she is shy, sweet, strong, aggressive, etc
Casting was so on-point for this game, each casting was perfect.
Almost all the qualities she listed of Tifa's when expressing admiration for the character were the ones I was amazed she brought out through her voice. I keep marvelling at how amazing she did here, and am honestly surprised she wasn't nominated for the bafta.
In the original game I was an Aerith kinda guy, after what I've seen of Tifa in the remake though.. seriously, she did amazing.
Britt did an excellent job and is now my canon voice for Tifa!
You can hear Tifa's voice during the interview.
hope she will continue the role of Tifa until Tifa reaches the motherly type characteristic of Tifa in Advent Children
Dilly dally shilly shally

Definitely fell in love with her Tifa performance ever since E3. She really has that special something that fits the character perfectly.
Perfect voice. Nice personality. Great!
actually rather doing her own interpretation of the character she totally nailed the intended interpretation of Tifa to begin with.
You gotta love all of the joy and excitement in her voice! Perfect!
She did a good job as Tifa.
Jesus Christ she’s gorgeous.

she should have been nominated for for a voice acting award her performance was great
Barret VA is the MVP in the game in my opinion
@@chibill467 agree Barrett was number 1. But I would put Tifa at number 2.
Agreed, im absolutely stunned by her talent.
I rlly love her voice
She's a legend. She's an icon. She snapped on this role. I love her performance so much. It meant so much to me
Square Enix does a good job in picking good VAs I reckon! Even waay back in FFX era
@@lukehart7225 "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA" Jokes aside FFX had amazing casting.
hearing her voice makes me visualize or see Tifa
She's definitely THE "Tifa" for sure!
Her voice is amazing I could listen to her all day

She has resemblance with Tifa. Interesting as well.
I just learned she also plays Ada-1 in Destiny 2! Love her.

Iconic.

She also really nails Tifa's pensive and worried personality, especially in the context of Tifa knowing that Cloud is lying/mistaken about his past.
@@captainkaiii yes she does . Great observation.
Tifaaa! Muito boa entrevista. Parabéns.

I really enjoyed this and it’s really good to hear her thoughts on the role
If I randomly heard Britt talking on the streets, I’d cast my heart out to her! What a voice!
Just got done watching the anniversary stream Alex, you did an amazing job hosting! And she really did an amazing job as Tifa
First Briana, I mean Aerith and now Britt or Tifa. Now, completing the trio, Cody Christian, or Cloud is next
I hope when it's time for her to voice the slap fight, she lets loose the most sass any character has ever seen.
I don’t think it’ll be a slap fight, it probably will be a proper one.
@@xhxrricane1328 but the slap fight was awesome

Oh Britt Baron is also Italian what a coincidence... Jokes aside she's definitely the perfect VA for Tifa also Ayumi Ito.
The impact is immense. Just imagine all the ppl putting off from ending it all for the final release next year.
she really did tifa perfectly
Tifa looks like her and vice versa.
I think the model looks have some relation to the voice actors.
Britt's voice is perfect for Tifa. I can't wait to see more of her in the upcoming games. Love Britt and Tifa! 💖💖

Im still thinking the same, but, i guess they have at least a Japanese touch around their appearance
12:45 If you ever meet in person you don't need a bodyguard, Britt can protect you.
Great interview - thanks!
she is very enthusiastic
sure thing, coach...
Yeah idk how they did it, every voice for the FF7 Remakes were unbelievable
Beautiful
I agree this game Final Fantasy Will make more in the future I love her voice acting
Please interview Tyler Hoechlin and Cody Christian together
I'm just listening to the video and all I hear is "our house special, Cosmo Canyon"
She has the most attractive laugh.
Had no idea that was her in GLOW! 😍🤯👍🏿
I think you should reach out to her once Trace of Two Pasts is released in English.
i'm thinking of Tifa's theme when she talks
Tifa is very shy
Fruit Loops are deffo in UK and they were my shit as a kid
Tifa loves fruit loops confirmed
As much as we would like to think otherwise, Fruit Loops are all the same flavor.
Damn, cody christian is not open to public isn't he!
talk to public...not his style
Maybe he's just NOT INTERESTED 😂
@@m160e Lol, it's called method acting, Amirite?
The interviewer is just a fireball of energy. Makes me PUMPED!!!!
so tifa's voice actress is italian
Is it me or the cast low key looks like the characters a bit
Never played the original but I was surprised at how kind Tifa was in this game. She has less of an edge than even Aerith.
Tifa does well to be a kind person and not take her anger out on others, amidst her own internal emotional struggles. She is battling physical and internal/emotional wars, yet remains focused on being supportive rather than letting herself completely buckle under the stress.
