We still have a scrap yard like that in Lincolnshire a lot bigger though its called windleys salvage.

Windleys is great. Also another (smaller) car breakers in waddington near Lincoln, Browns auto breakers, they allow you to walk around, good prices too.

Used to love looking for parts in my local scrappy, G.W & G Bridges Ltd. Something about picking your own parts and fitting them yourself. Shame they stopped people walking around. Damn health and safety regs

There is podders in arnold you can still walk around I think we should send them off with a bang have a gathering on the last day as me and my brother in law love going to looms. I work for trent buses I'd love to know where we are going to send our scrap buses now. Loved this series be a shame for it to end

To be fair regardless of any history, it is a scrapyard at the end of the day, not exactly special, just useful at times. They are probably moving with the times with people buying newer cars more often now.

The midnight drives videos you did before were cool. I think some reviews would be good to see on the channel again as well. Rating subscribers cars? Subscribers cars top trumps? Maybe some live q&a type videos mid week?

Jesse start getting onto the bikes mate, much easier to store, much easier to work on, much cheaper (in most cases) and easier to get bits, not many people are doing bikes on UA-cam. Buy rough ones tidy them up and flog them on. I think it would definitely do well 👍🏼 p.s, you missed the mk1 Leon there think it’s a non R cupra or maybe a tdi, but either way, bits sell quite well from them, I used to strip them 👍🏼

Don't know if you have any near by but car auction content would be great. Walk around looking at the cars before the auction then maybe go the auction to see what they go for?
I know it will be a bit of a treck to get to from the midlands but SilverLake Autos in Southampton has a massive pick and pull, Contantly down there for parts for my MX5 and Micra
I didn't know they let people in do pick pull as I used A1 in Wokingham

There's a place called u pull it near York thats like this on steroids. Owned by copart. Unfortunately last time I went the place was half waterlogged but still an enormous selection of cars and very cheap if you can find what you need.
Take a look at U-Pullit, scrapyards that operate the same way

It's a shame as old scrapyard are getting rare .as we rather scrap a car then repair it.
I would of took sully and tried to get him working with help from companies ect then use him for shows ect but I reckon it would need a good bit of cash

The reason it's closing is due to the owner having cancer
This might come across wrong. But don't you think your videos could of had a part to play in this place closing down. After 2010 at some point scrap yards changed around and stopped people from entering after accidents happening with people climbing on car and pulling them over onto them self ect, to they all changed for insurance purposes and was made to stop entering and the mechanics would go collect them and your videos could of basically just brought unwanted attention to them about a dodgy legal reason, I know there is 1 walk in scrap yard in the uk and I can imagine they have crazy insurance for that where this little old school scrap yard might not be able to pay that type of insurance, like I say this might might across wing but I don't mean anything bad by it just something to think about going forward with videos
Tbf the amount of people that asked which scrapyard this was and ended up going because of the videos I highly doubt it was because of me? 🤷🏼♂️
